They sell in the UK from dealers for about £2800 AFTER the £700 government grant has been taken off. So the normal retail price is £3500 (around US$4500). Classified as a scooter in the UK.
They say it is cheap for 2500-3000 euros.. yea, if you compare it to a Tesla, maybe.. but if you take into consideration that in case you just need a bike / scooter to move around in the city, you can get one for like 700-1000 euros and it will do the job.. so in my opinion this one is not cheap at all.. but overall a very nice product.
@@harrisidiens3105 I got one 6 months ago , got the rebate , love it for getting around ...already saved hundreds in gas and I like rideing it . 3300 in cash will pay for itself in 2 years . Hope the parts last for 5 .
Bought exactly this one. Looks fantastic and drives well, but mine broke down after 6 months of (normal/in-city) usage because of water/sand entering the E-motor.. Customer service is useless, as they only point to the customer for causing the water to enter.. Looks like they think they're selling iPhones, not E-bikes..
I really wish the Super SOCO TC were available on the North American continent. We only have the SC and it doesn't look as nice, nor as comfortable as the TC.
Actually a really good overview - but if you were able to edit in a little bit of riding footage here and there, it would liven it up? However, there are plenty of awful reviews, where ALL they do is ride and give you a view of a road up ahead! Thanks for showing us around this great little e-bike.
Hi, how are you? I'm thinking about buy this model but I have one question... which is the autonomy per charge? I mean, if you don't drive like an old lady! The manual says about 80 Km but of course I know these autonomy is if I drive really slow... What can you tell me about it? Thanks and regards from Uruguay!
It is certainly seems headed in the right direction. I wonder though with batteries that have a 1,000 charge life (recharge 1,000 times) is less than 3 yrs. at best. Depending on price of batteries these (bikes) could be throw-away product in just a few years making them another recycle nightmare of toxic waste. Seems a Hybrid System of Gas /? to turn Gen to power motor would be a feasible short term answer untill the battery problem is solved. Better mileage / less drivetrain / smaller space , can make just as much HP with lots of room for customization and individuality.
Not R&B, but Renminbi, or 'People's currency' in English. Yes that's the Chinese name for currency. 880 is only about $175AUD, which sound like someone is making out like a bandit, lol.
Normally electric vehicles have no gears. There's no point as ev's have 100% torque from zero rpm. The only common exception is retro fitted fossil fuel vehicles which still have their old gearbox.
It is cheap in china but anywhere else is double the price so it is not worth it unless you live in china , you can get a real bike with the same money and the money you will need to replace the costly battery are going to be more than the service costs of the real bike .
Can't do highway speeds. Too expensive considering performance characteristics. Way small range. Reasons I personally said no. Otherwise a good looking electric bike.
Yeah, that's totally true. But I think this bike is designed for in-city use. And considering its 1600-dollar price tag in China, it's quite a good deal.
I have a TC, that I bought in Beijing. The range is about 80 KM and you can always add a second battery. The speed is more than enough to get me around the city . As I bought in China the speed is not restricted. On the whole I am happy with my TC.
The mame of this bike os very funny to us, Brazilians. SOCO means punch in Portuguese, so Super Soco means a very powerful punch, like some sort of super hero name. Lol
I was getting very interested watching the video until you mentioned top speed of 70km/h. I know it's a city bike but on a petrol 50cc moped you can go way quicker weighing a lot less. Sorry not for me
45Mph is it's maximum speed in mode 3, not enough for highway speed but if all you do is city driving then it would be ok. Not fast enough for me though, too many 70mph roads here. It's not an e-bike, the closest analogue would be a 50cc scooter.

Holy! Crap! Top speed 75 km/h Fast like! City bus
Gas bikes are called motorbikes but they have an engine. Electric bikes actually have motors.

Does it need to be registered?
Do you need a licence to use it?

6.5k USD. In China 4.5k or under because you can buy a brand new electric car vehicle in China for 5k
Available to order from www.green-mopeds.com in the UK. The price can be found here.. www.green-mopeds.com/lifan-e3-lf1200dt--1500w-100-p.asp
Beautiful bike!!! This bike is classified as an ebike?!? If yes do the petals move the bike ?
The pedals don't move but for some countries its allowed as an ebike
Do you know if they have a store in Beijing?

No available to pre-order in the UK from green-mopeds.com
do you pay tax on that and have you got to have a full licence or can you ride on a CBT
in cina its 1000 euros but in EU it is 3000
How about an option for a front hub motor in addition to the rear for more power and speed?
When you are turning, the front wheel and rear wheel actually turn at different speeds, so I don't think it's a good idea.
Computerized wheel speed compensation built into the controller? I have seen E-bicycles with dual hub motors.
G Philip C it seems a good idea, but another problem is increased on-suspension weight, which reduces the reaction of suspension due to more momentum.
I did that 2 hubs motor front and rear it doesn't add much speed rather drastically adds up power yet it drains batteries so not a good idea
zero cost like 5 times more, and it can go up to like 7 times more
880r&b? They are $2990 with a 2400rear hub motor here in Australia. $4990for the TC max
Where are you living in China ?
Not R&B, but Renminbi, or 'People's currency' in English. Yes that's the Chinese name for currency. 880 is only about $175AUD, which sound like someone is making out like a bandit, lol.
Are u gonna do som driving videos too?

do you know where i can buy it?
tabao or aliexpress
in ali express it's like C$ 3,914.53 , can you poste à link where we can buy it 1500 USD ?
No, its around $3300
When can we see riding videos? acceleration of motorcycle.
I buy one next year save my money
vem para o brasil??
Hello, i heard there is an app that goes with the bike. Is there an english version ?
I don't think there's an English version, hopefully they are working on that.
Ran Lin could you make a video showing how to connect your bike to the app? Ive been using google translate to help me but its taking forever.
Ramon Carty you can start by scanning the code you'll get in your Manuel to connect to your bike
The College - Carguyz i got that part. Do I need to have a chinese phone number? Does my bike have to be on to connect it?
Ramon Carty I don't think that's necessary
what is the cost and how do you order from the Usa?
Andre reynolds that's something I don't know, maybe you can try eBay to see if there's any private importer who sells this bike.
It’s very nice but I just need it to be faster. Like at least 200kph max speed would be great.
96v batteries make the bike go roughly 95km to 98km btw
That's like 15-20k buddy lol there's already an electric motorcycle that fast by zero motorcycle
Are you out of your mind?
I have one question about gears... Does this bike have gears?
Pranish Agrawal No, it doesn't have any gear.
Normally electric vehicles have no gears. There's no point as ev's have 100% torque from zero rpm. The only common exception is retro fitted fossil fuel vehicles which still have their old gearbox.
For me chasis is rusting .mean the soldering joint all getting rust .bad soldering .even around the seat metal is rusting
What is the maximum speed?
I think he just said in 75 km/h in power mode 3
45 mph is just not good enough ! We need at least 60mph
what country is this. googled it, see nothing
This is from China
I wish I could buy it in india.
This is in fact a fancy electric bicycle!
You're right, it costs no more than some fancy road bikes, those could easily surpass 2,000 dollars.
Next model up, the tmax does 110kph.
