Batman was my childhood hero and now he seems so bland because of the lack of substance in his media portrayal. Stephen Amell's portrayal of Oliver Queen made him a legend. i worked for the special ops. diggs is so silly and dumb.what oliver went through is wayyy more traumatic than going to war with your unit. it does chip off part of your humanity not soul, but it is nothing compared to a brat spoiled man, who saw his father delete himself and gave him one thing to do. the abuse he went through on the island and russia mostly alone is more traumatic than any war or any op i was in. a marine is a robot trained to do one thing from the age of 17, be the best. thats why they only take 7 a year. but we know what we are getting into. Oliver had to suffer a LOT every time it seemed he was accomplishing his goals. Specially for a brat like him. when i was honorably discharge i had a grenade launched between us and it was like 3 feet away from me. I took 28 lead buckshots, 35 stitches, a broken jaw, a punctured liver and a slur in my talking right now, when i am tired specially. and all these, are not half what queen had to surpass mentally and physically. and he was a spoiled college brat. all that to say that diggs is a biatch if he thinks oliver was in a picnic on the island. he was supposed to be dead at least 15 times.....at least we go as a group with all the gear necessary and each one of us is slade day 1. what he became is phenomenal
I only hope his sendoff in the finale tonight is worthy and brings out the best in his character like this video did. They'll probably mess it up though...
SpideyGames I thought it was pretty good. Not a great episode and certainly not a great crossover, but I definitely felt a lot of emotion when he interacted with Barry and when he died at the end.
Even though season 8's buildup was pointless from a story point of view and the first episode of Crisis was absolute nonsense, the way they finished Oliver's sacrifice made up for it.
