  • In this short educational video, we demonstrate the acquisition of Integrated Differential Phase Contrast (iDPC) atomic resolution images using Velox software. Our subject material is DyScO3 in [100] orientation, prepared via Focused Ion Beam (FIB).
This video continues our series of example videos on how to use Velox. Previous videos covered how to set up STEM acquisition.
    Key prerequisites include:
    - The microscope must be aligned for atomic resolution Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM), ensuring that the customer has already obtained atomic STEM images.
    - iDPC should have been aligned on the system.
In this example, we show how to switch to iDPC mode and acquire high-quality images effortlessly, without the need for extensive tuning.
