Thank you SO MUCH for doing a video on Vegan Gluten Free baking. I have Celiac and I am a new Vegan, started on April 12th and doing well, love it. I love baking and I have been having a hard time finding delicious recipes that are Vegan, Gluten Free, Grain free, and Dairy free. I recently was in the hospital two weeks ago for four days for a small intestine bowel obstruction, due to a few things. One is I was in a car accident in 2010 and I died four times, they had to helicopter me to another hospital an hour away by helicopter, I had a severed Aorta, severed small intestine, and severed liver. Since then I have had six bowel obstructions in that area, due to scars and adhesion, the last one I had one was in 2013 until now. Another reason recently I had this bowel obstruction was due to I turned Vegan and was eating a lot of berries and high fiber fruits and veggies and it got stuck in that spot. So now I have to be on a low fiber, Gluten Free, No grains, No dairy type of lifestyle and I am also now Vegan. So it is very hard for me to find recipes that is going to be okay for me. I really appreciate this. I know I can't use the berries in this recipe, is it okay if I use fruits that I can have, like apples or blueberries for this recipe? Thank again for this recipe. I hope you will have more this type of recipes whether it is baking or a meal type of thing. God Bless You Both!!
Very tasty recipe! Had to use vegetable shortening for the crust and vegetable oil for the frangipan but it turned out pretty tasty. Using the different fat meant I could use less of them though, fyi
Excellent video guys.... Reckon my wee son and I are gonna have a go at this tomorrow! If I can't get buckwheat flour, would regular, gluten free flour work? Alex, Belfast
Might just try it this weekend! I actually prefer this version to the new one on the Waitrose channel! Gf flour mixes often contain so many binding agents... also the fresh fruits look yummy!! :)
To make the base less crumbly, guys, use very little ground flax or chia seeds (bind with the two tablespoonful of water, or more), they are high in protein, good protein as well. I see you use the flax seeds in the 'frang' mixture anyway. lol
This looks amazing and not too difficult! Really want to give that a try after exams are over ^^ But could you also use a chia egg instead of a flax egg?
I've been really enjoying your videos and snapchat since you're no longer screaming 😁 now you only have to teach raj how to talk with a normal volume 😉
Cant beat a cherry bakewell! This sounded delicious. We make similar at Offbeet (www.offbeetfood.com) a completely vegan and gluten free restaurant in Hampshire. Would love you to visit sometime :)

+Andra V. Thanks so much for watching :D
Thanks for a gluten free cake. 💚 from a gluten intolerant vegan in Australia.
What could be used instead of buckwheat flour? I'm gluten and dairy intolerant and intolerant to buckwheat too!
Wow! Looks amazing, thanks so much, from a new vegan:-)
Congrats, good luck on your journey. :D
This will please my gluten intolerant friends. Thanks guys 😀👍🏻👍🏻
So we can use wheat flour ? Or can we also use white all purpose flour?
+tasneem Alghrew The almond flour is quite essential, but the buckwheat flour can be replaced.
what could i use if i don't have flax seeds at home? maybe something with chia seeds?
loved the video, looks so good! (:
+TheCelinaProductions chia seeds work will work perfect
+The Happy Pear thank you! i will try it out
Also almond flour is a hassle to find, what can I use instead?
+tasneem Alghrew you can blend some of the almonds your sprinkle on the top?
+The Happy Pear the recipe calls for almond flour tho, what can I use instead of that? Will any type of flour work?
+tasneem Alghrew I know almond flour is just ground almonds. The almond flour gives it the taste and the fluffiness it's kind of essential.
