It’s because they clashed their individual skills together instead of just passing the ball, which is what teamwork is. Blue lock does the same here and creates the concept of chemical reactions where two individuals aiming for a goal clash to create a teamwork play

You really have guts to start Bluelock immediately after Haikyuu which revolves around team play and cooperation. Abandon and forget everything you just learned from Haikyuu to truly understand the masterpiece of Bluelock. Bluelock has one of the best main characters so far. Infact this is one of those few animes where the main character is my most favourite.
I love watching Rafael Leao play, he is always smiling and his dribbling x speed is nuts. That is why he is my favourite. Runner ups would be Paulo Dybala, Robin Gosens and although he doens't play anymore Michael Ballack.
I am not a football guy, but when I was younger, i really liked two players: Raí because he was the Paris Saint Germain 's striker And Batistuta because of my Argentinian roots ^^
My favorite player were Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Messi. Hazard was also very cool and maybe you guys can react to the Nike Commercial Videos, because they were BANGERS 💯🔥
if you guys really end up liking sports anime, you should check out Ping Pong the Animation. It's by far the best sports anime, it has so much great character writing like haikyuu, but i think it gets a little deeper into the psyche of the characters more over the mechanics of the sport. the cast is all beautifully written, it has a unique visual style, and the music is amazing. it's only 11 episodes and it's a full and complete story, highly recommend :)
My favourite football player right now is Jamal Musiala. Granted, I AM German and only 20, which is why it‘s probably only natural that I‘m more drawn towards the younger talents lol.
