- How to pronounce the 'work' and 'walk' in British English (RP/Modern RP). This video focuses on comparing the two words and teaching you the sounds in detail. I also compare the vowel sounds in 'walk' and 'work' so you can hear the difference in pronunciation.
Please be aware that other accents may say these differently. This video focuses on Modern RP/RP, which is considered the 'standard' varieiety of British English. Enjoy! :)

I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

Have you thought of learning Arabic? It has a distinctive intonation. The rhythm of words is attractive. Arabic has also a charming melody . By Arabic I mean standard Arabic.
Thank you once again Emma and I wish you all the best !
I started learning Arabic at the start of this year and I just didn't click with it, sadly. I gave it a go, but didn't feel the emotional connection I usually do to other languages I've chosen to learn.
