  • A low alpha isochronic tones session (just tones) designed to calm your mind and reduce feelings of anxiety.
    You can either just listen to the tones on their own or have it playing while listening to your choice of music or calming nature sound etc.
    Listen to it whenever you feel the symptoms of anxiety or a panic attack.
    ► Please subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks: www.youtube.com...
    How does it work?
    This 'just tones' track is designed to lower your brainwave activity to a more relaxed mental state in the low alpha range.
    The isochronic tones in this session cycle begin at 8.6Hz the low alpha frequency range. It gradually ramps down over 5 minutes to 8Hz, where it then ramps back up to 8.6Hz over the next 5 minutes. This cycle is then repeated for the rest of the track. You can listen to it for as long as you need but I recommend listening for a minimum of 10 minutes to give it a chance to start working and influencing your brainwave activity.
    This is a brainwave entrainment audio session using isochronic tones. If brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones are new concepts for you, there is some information about that and how it works here: goo.gl/QwLgHs.
    Headphones are NOT required for this video
    How should you listen to this?
    Ideally, listen to this in a calm and quiet environment and in comfortable upright position. Although you may find it very relaxing, it's not specifically designed to make you fall asleep. So I recommend listening to it during the daytime.
    Although headphones are not required, using them will usually help to block out distracting external noises.
    How loud should the volume be?
    Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn't be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.

    It took about 45 min honestly (but had anxiety all week), but my heart is now beating rhythmically and I'm getting double the breath volume I was before and don't feel like I'm being strangled anymore lol. I'm not all the way there but feel more normal. I even just yawned. wow. Thank you, God Bless you. I appreciate this so much! This is my first visit to your channel, I look forward to exploring further.

    THANK YOU for this. In the last two weeks my godfather died, my uncle died, my father was in the ER for a bit and my mother was in the ER a week later. I had my first panic attack in years this morning. Just could not breathe. I meditate to binaural beats so I searched, found this, and after two minutes my shoulders dropped. After five I was breathing much better. I"m still anxious but that sense of not being able to breathe is now gone. I have no idea how this works, it's nuts, but thank you for this!

    My anxiety medicine doesn't get me out of a panic as fast as this video did and they are pretty strong meds! Maybe I can put them up and never have to take them again if this video continues to work like it did! I would LOVE to not have to take them anymore. The side effects make it so my whole day is pretty much ruined. I can't do anything after taking them bc of how loopy and sleepy I get and it sucks. This video may finally allow me to say goodbye to benzos forever! Thank you for sharing this!

I am in Benzo Withrawal, just stopped for 3 weeks as the last 6 months were really intense.. and in a lot of fear about my future, how to continue, I have awful 'waking nightmares' if I get insomnia and it's just a real scary thing. I had really depressing thoughts and was really down and then started to listen to this.. and it HELPED. like a lot. I thank you so much. I wonder if listening to this while trying to sleep will not prevent sleep, given it's alpha waves.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  3 года назад +5

      Thanks for your compliment on my tracks. I hadn't heard of it until you mentioned it but I did just look it up. With misophonia, where sounds can trigger emotional or physiological responses, I'm guessing you'd ideally be looking for something that would be preventitive. This type of stimulation is mainly effective while you are listening to it and for a short while afterwards. It's not really something that I would expect to be able to prevent a response like that. Not on-going anyway. A track like this could be helpful to bring you back to normality, once a reaction has happened. You could also try using something like this just before an event or social situation, where you are concerned about and expecting sudden noises. I hope that helps.

      The only thing I can suggest is having some white or brown noise playing to reduce background noises. Certain sounds make me increasingly upset on the spot so i have brown noise playing in my headphones constantly to block out the noise.

      Thanks for your appreciation of my work Amy.
      For a track to specifically help feelings of loneliness, it would need to contain spoken words and a speech therapy script. It isn’t possible to target specific feelings directly with frequencies and tones alone. This may be something I will branch out to in the future but at the moment, I’m not creating tracks containing any speech therapy or guided meditation.

    I love your videos. Quick question tho, does this reduce /slow down high speed alpha waves in the brain in order to calm?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  Год назад +2

      This makes low alpha waves the dominant frequency in your brain to help calm you. Your brain is usually producing frequencies across the spectrum most of the time. However you will usually be dominant within a specific frequency or frequency range, depending on what you’re doing or how you’re feeling. The brainwave entrainment process can change what frequency you are dominant in and have an impact on how you feel. During times of high anxiety, you are probably dominant in high beta.

    I have a question and I hope it doesn't sound too strange. I am new to this (just found it last night) so I know nothing about it but I saw you have videos to help with ADD/ADHD and anxiety. Is it possible for these to also help with Bipolar type 1? Like something to help pull me out of psychosis when I get extremely manic or to help with the god awful depression episodes? I am medicated but they don't prevent all symptoms and would love to find something like this to help with those as well

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  3 года назад +5

      Hi Jessica, don’t worry, it’s not a strange question. I’m very pleased to hear you’ve been finding this helpful. I do sometimes get positive feedback from people with bipolar. However, I haven’t come across any formal research where this type of audio was tested with bipolar. So unfortunately, at the moment I am just relying on anecdotal feedback like yours, to gauge how useful this type of audio can potentially be. I hope that one day very soon there will be some research and data to go on. Until then, I’m afraid it is still a case of trial and error, to see if a particular track can resonate with you and provide some relief.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  3 года назад +4

      I can’t think of any obvious reason why that happened. Are you already a regular listener of isochronic tones? If you are fairly new to this type of thing, it may be that you were anxious about how the tones work and how they may affect you. I recommend combining this just tones version with a calming music track. That will help make it feel less intense.
