if your launchpad doesnt light up go to session view and then to use 1 again! hope it helps!

Hey I know I'm late but could you please show us how to map this to a button. So like if we press a button on the launchpad it plays this effect? I use Ableton live lite so I don't have max for live so is there a way around this such as a plugin?

hold the pad down, then tap the key. for it to work make sure the headphones icon in the top left corner of the midi editor is turned on

Can I use this method in Ableton Live Lite? If not do you know of any plugins that can allow me to make light effect without using chains, in Ableton Live Lite.

This works in Live Lite, but for triggering this kind of effect with a button press, you will need Suite.

make sure you chose launchpad mk2 not launchkey mk2

make sure the output and input Launch Pad MK2 both & channel 6, PS : when i don't select 'output' Launch Pad MK2 it can't get the light up, bro :)
