I've always wanted to get those kinds of shots too. I think it would make the videos much more exciting. Unfortunately I live on a completely dead airpark. There is NO community here. In fact other than Brian and Gordon I haven't seen anyone here in years. Literally. No garage doors open, no hangar doors open. I'm not even sure if people live in the houses here! It's pathetic. This is why I want to move out of here so bad. So there is no one here to film while I do some takeoffs and landings. I absolutely hate it here.

Can you please please please 🙏 ( james brown voice ) take the plane to a high altitude lets say above 8500 and let us know the performance t.a.s. I need a plane for long cross country flights and im debating between a cruiser or a sonex also what happened with the ghp being off was you able to correct it on the dynon ? P.s. I haven’t ,we haven’t forgotten about the velocity soooo….. love the videos and happy new year 🎈
Zenith aircraft are not fast at all. If you want long CC, you should probably look at an RV.
You are comparing apples to oranges regarding a CruZer and a Sonex. I would not buy a Zenith to do regular cross country flights, they just aren’t that fast…
What's a persons motivation to self build a plane? To fly, defying gravity, seeing the clouds and earth from a different perspective, or... each piece of aluminium, rivet and plexiglass joined together to withstand the G forces and negative G forces applied to it by its movement through earth's atmosphere?

What do you predict will be the flying characteristics of your new plane vs this one?
I’m building an RV right now, but if I downshift to something slower I’m totally considering a cruiser. Any issues with the ul power ? Where do you get your gas from? I assume ethanol free
I have the same plane and engine combination as Mark and will have been flying it four years in February. I use almost exclusively Murphy Oil 93 Octane (non-ethanol) MOGAS and have had zero issues in almost 500 hours of flying it.
@@scottmiller4711 FIVE HUNDRED hours?? Man you need to stop flying and starting building another kit! LOL
The only issue I had was a crack in the exhaust pipe. I replaced the muffler and it's been fine ever since. UL Power said that they had this issue on the older style mufflers.

Can the super duty Cary more gas and luggage than the 701?
The Super Duty is a much larger and more capable airplane than the 701. Have a look around the Zenith website for stats on both airplanes.
