- To be an All-Star is one of the highest honors you can get in the NBA, but there's been some players that have gotten that honor and didn't really deserve it. The players that made the all-star teams these years will really leave you scratching your head!

Facts
I love how people use All Star selections as a tool to legitimize greatness, or a resume builder. It's putting flashy, exciting players together for a pick up game, not necessarily the best players. There are no right or wrong selections, it's a popularity contest. Let it be that, and don't try to analyze it.

I understand that Roy Hibbert contributed to the Pacers winning games in 2014, but that doesn't change the fact that he robbed Al Jefferson (who led his team to the playoffs as well) of an All-Star selection

FYI, In 2022 the teams had to have two gaurds, two forwards and one center. Luka, Book and Mitchel were listed as gaurds and couldn't get into the starters above Steph and Ja. While Wiggins was a forward and got his spot over others.

I’m super depressed right now and just got fired from my job today despite working my ass off and doing amazing, I just happened to be late twice in a row because my adhd meds make it impossible to sleep so I had to stay up all night to try to make it on time but I didn’t, so I got fired. After being arguably the best employee there for the past 2 years.I’m also failing out of school, completely my fault, i just hate my major so much. And my dad is very very sick and I’m terrified every day about his health and he’s been getting worse every year. And I know I’m extremely intelligent, but since I’m too nice I let people take advantage of me so I’ve been screwed out of lots of money. all-star players can't be averaging only 18ppg and doesn't add other things like excellent defence or quality playmaking 😂😂 it's a farce
@@fpl_djhammer All Stars can definitely average 18, considering Kyle Korver averaged 12 that year he was one. Also 18 in 2009 was more impressive than it is now. Only 6 players averaged 25 or more per game in 2009, last year there was 14, so 18 back then is more like 23 or 24 now.

The take you have on Wiggins is wrong, he's a small forward and the players you mentioned are guards, PG was injured that year and Kawhi also got injured. There wasn't any other player that stood out in the small forward position other than Wiggins that's why he was a starter he deserved it tho.
