My wife cried in sheer happiness as the elephant hugged you. Your whole persona had been exposed and we were both touched. So glad you took this tour. Also, Thailand, views in the map is in the shape of the elephant's head. It is no wonder they love the grand ol animal. Waterfall shot is awesome!
We have a saying “มีข้าวกินเพราะควาย มีแผ่นดินไทยก็เพราะช้าง” meaning we have rice cus of our buffaloes and we have thailand cus of elephants, thailand won her independence from myanmmar on an elephant’s back their ancestors fought side by side with our ancestors i am glad they have a place to live happily they deserve it, their ancestors fought for thailand as hard as ours it warms my heart to see sanctuaries like these giving them the love and respect they deserve

Elephant sanctuary really a huge change on how Elephant bring treat.
1x-20 years ago there still "Elephant beggar" on the street of Bangkok since the owner can't afford to raise them, they're force to be on the hot street.
now people know this sanctuary are much better alternative, so everything went better real fast.

@@theisaiahashleyshow4251 I think it similar to Civet coffee, they let the elephant eat the coffee bean and collect it back once elephant poop.
I used to visit Doi Chang, which is famous for their coffee and they told me that they need to search for wild Civet poop in the forest after let them eat coffee.

If you want to see this elephants than the normal way is too see them from a distance. Why do you do this. You see the man whit te stik. Pleace stop.
