After watching this and your reaction to the premiere, assuming you haven't already seen the rest of the series yet, here are some things to keep in mind as you progress on.
1. I see you also don't like Ripper judging by how upset you were about him staying over Axel. You're not the only one. He's the most hated Modern character. He gets worse. MUCH worse.
2. Some characters get some interesting plotlines later on in the Season, so keep your eyes peeled.
3. Episode 5 is gonna be a REALLY rough hurdle to get over as it's THE most hated episode of the reboot. Thought I'd give you a heads up.
4. Scary Girl's real name is Lauren. Everyone just calls her Scary Girl because she's well... I'm sure you know the rest.
5. The reason why Christian Potenza didn't come back for the reboot are for 2 reasons. First, he was sadly falsely accused of sexual harassment, which got him blacklisted from voice acting. That said, even if he wasn't, he wouldn't have come back because he hated how sadistic Chris became after the first 3 seasons.
6. Chef also has a new VA, that being Deven Mack. Clé Bennett, his original VA, just moved on from Total Drama.

Heather had social skills, its after finding out who she really is that folks generally want nothing to do with her anymore.
