Congrats on the sponsorship - Well-deserved for your many years of producing valuable videos for Line 6 Helix users. Combining a little bit of Ping Pong Delay with Reverb can produce some fun results.
Your thumbnail just made me realize that the 25th Anniversary DL4 MkII has the original Line 6 logo on it. Which led me to also see they used the old DL4 logo, too! Such an awesome little touch. :) (Great vid as always, sir...)
I figured I’d better ask about your delay settings on “Shut Up And Dance” because My band plays it and I haven’t quite gotten the feedback amounts jelling yet.
Sounds really good. Can you get a delay and a reverb on this pedal so 2 blocks or effects. ? Im pretty sure you have 2 on but its not clear with that pedal. Also are the delays and reverbs the same as in the pod go and hx effects.
Same effects, but not all parameters for some. There are no "blocks", but yes, you can run any one delay and any one reverb simultaneously. Personally, while I like the possibilities, I find the selection and editing of reverbs a bit challenging (at least for me, I would need the manual consrtantly). But then, it is quite a bit cheaper than a HX Stomp, which would be the most affordable device without these usability 'limitations' (well, I call them that)...

thats why I like it!
Huge congratulations Steve, well deserved!
Thanks Rob!
Love the video Steve. What are you typically setting your mix at for both? Was wondering if you tend to go higher on Delay block or the Reverb block.

They can both be saved to the same preset, up to 6 presets. You can't toggle the fx though. Yes, all are in pod go and hx fx
1:49 def need to try this one, would you suggest Cosmic Echo before amp in Helix?
Try both! It gets a cool distorted character into a broken up amp, but it will be more amplified and need to be mixed down. Both will do great
@@SteveSterlaccithanks! I typically do slap back before amp. Sounds great as always.
Not hitting the button is not cool.
DO THE RIGHT THING BUDDY!
Nice 🤘
Appreciate it!
