    One common doubt: People somehow manage to complete a single degree in 4 years (Since everybody wants to live a cool college life), on the hand, for those who pick dual degrees, They've got to cover 2 degrees in 5 years! So workload would be massive, more exams more assignments etc. or is it a case where I'll find most of the courses common between BE & MSc?

    • @everythingbitsatfromabitsi341
      @everythingbitsatfromabitsi341  5 лет назад +10

      Yes, a dual will be more hectic than a single degree. But the structure of the dual degree is made such that the work load is manageable. The compulsory courses of one branch are counted towards the open electives of the other and first year courses are common anyway. If that didn't make sense to you right now, forget about it. It will when it needs to. I will be making a in depth dual degree experience video soon, that would explain things better.

    Hey um i just had a doubt as to whether there is an option of completing an Msc Physics course in BITS without haing to study for 5 years? That is to say without the BE degree and instead just opt for a single degree of physics? OR is it compulsory to take Msc Physics as a part of a dual degree program?

      1) Video coming soon
      2) Placements depend on your BE and not on your MSc in general.
      3) Not entirely true that you can get good job only after CS or Electronics.
      4) In my opinion, with dual as an option, drop should not be considered, as dual gives you another shot at your desired branch, with a safety net of already having BITS.
      5) Again, placements, depend on BE. And yes, people with bio and chem do get great packages because of their respective BEs. I know Chem people who got upwards of 20L package because of their BEs.
