- Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. This is the story of two Golden Retriever litters totaling 19 adorable little teddy bear Golden Retriever puppies in Mckinney Texas in the summer and fall of 2022. These puppies were hand-raised at home at our little farm in Mckinney Texas. You will see them grow from birth to 8 weeks old and beyond. I came home from work one day to 9 golden puppies in my living room with mom working hard and exausted! (i had no idea it was time) and Dad was hiding outside in the garage LOL I immediately lepped into action helping and building an impromptu birthing box in a couple hours and got everyone situated! I had saved newspapers in a large recycling bin for 3 years and they came in very handy! It was quitte an ordeal that was sooo wonderful! They were raised right there in my living room for several weeks! And yes I changed their newspapers 3-4 times a day and had my great vet come a couple times and eventually went to him for shots and due claws and such. I sold all but one for checked out families(which they didn't like but dealt with) and raised Mom, Dad and son for many years! It was a wonderful experience! we lost them all eventually to father time and now I'm a Border Collie Dad with just the one dog! He's my best friend and a great companion for a 64 year old man who's sons have moved out in town to their own lives and a wife who works all hours! I don't know what I'd do without my best Friend Zeke! This is him in my Profile Pic! I'm Brian! but he gets top billing of course LOL

Sad. It’s abuse to keep the mother dog constantly pregnant. It’s stressful on their bodies and dangerous. This is purely about money and shows how little they truly care about those dogs

In breeding of father becoming grandfather? So does not happen with English retrievers. Please, please consider the health of your puppies. Latterly you thought about that. In breeding is so very very wrong.

I always did love these large litters of puppies.
Over the years, we’ve had 7 Golden’s. Two were adopted/rescued, and quite frankly, they were two of the best Goldens we’ve had . Fantastic breed, but it takes a LOT of work to make sure they turn out right. We know a number of reputable Golden breeders and most say that rarely do they make any serious money from their effort. Especially when you consider all the time and effort that goes into taking care of pups - the right way - for the better part of 2+ months. Then, of course, there are all the vet bills, food, and other things that pups need to stay healthy and engaged/active. One does breeding simply for the love you have for the animals…and not to turn a quick buck.

Just came across this. Laughed but cried so much! Have had and have Goldens for over 30 years. They have all been rescues but my current I got as a puppy. Andy is 10.5 years old now and we again are seeing some issues with arthritis. He's been on a supplement for 2 years and also special joint kibble though he is fed with chicken and green beans NO SALT. However, we had a Houston Problem in the early hours of this morning so he will need a little Rimadyl for the next 2 days. Shudder to think what your puppies' cost. But I have subscribed. Nearly 2 years ago we lost our female Golden. She too was Field blood line. Andy, my current Golden mourned for her massively. She was a Mum to him. As we are much older, we have a Springer Spaniel as a companion for him. They adore each other and we adore and very much love her. Smaller and easier to manage in old age (weight) However, I love my Teddy Bears. And they are and, on that note, need to feed him, pill him and feed Emma. Thanks for sharing.

I prefer Labradors myself and have had a beautiful female called Sandy that lived to 17 years old. She was super brainy and understood over 200 words. She was a gun dog that lived in a kennel before i got her at about 2 years old. She had never been allowed inside a house so i had to carry her inside the first time. She soon took over the house and slept at my feet. I loved her chocolate nose but she was very light coloured. They have less hair than Goldens or it's shorter.

Very different laws. I'm swedish. By law a puppy have to be at least 8 weeks old to be legally sold. As always pups are adorable

This almost made me cry As a Brit I know Goldens, and have had two gorgeous girls named Ria and Senga They both lived to be fourteen and a half years old Sadly the Portuguese breeder who promised us a puppy here failed to deliver .She only offered us a very sad looking inbred scrap That we obviously refused,. Maybe she thought as Brits we would take anything being known animal lovers We were offered another from the next litter but we never heard another word from them It wasn't a puppy mill but what seemed a very well run kennels.. A mystery to us maybe lost in translation somewhere but very sad for us as it looks like there are no good breeders here in Portugal I Wish we lived near you Your farm looks excellent well done Goldens are the dolphins of the dog world Total joy

Nothing wrong with making money. Nothing illegal It's part of business just like any other animals and businesses.

I don't like puppy mills and puppy farms. Most puppies that live on puppy farms or puppy mills live in horrible conditions. Poor things.
