Thanks for the video tutorial bro it helped a lot I followed it to the t and problem fixed. I bought a pack of 10 volume sliders for around £12 Part name [B10K-SLIDE-10P] also known as B10KX2 Just have to be careful when soldering to keep it nice and clean and as precise as possible. Also don't tighten to beck cover screws to much mainly the ones beneath the jog wheels. Thanks again your video was really appreciated👊🏽
Same exact problem...now completely fixed. Sprayed a little WD-40 in it, not even using the little red straw, just close to the deck 2 side of the cross-fader.. Worked the fader back and forth a few times. Problem gone. Also, the fader moves a lot faster now. Cheers.
God Bless You, Sir. i never thought to remove the little output board, and never found the "hidden" screw.... same exact problem.... too many miles on the cross fader.....

is this the same fader in the mixstream?
I think I solved the problem without an overpriced spare part (B10KX2 from Alpha): desolder the fader, there are clamps under the fader that you have to bend open. Then paint the bare contact surfaces on the far right and left with clear varnish. Let it dry and put everything back together. Now the fader no longer bleeds to the left when pushed all the way to the right. The component is just Chinese garbage.
Bought one from then and a month later it bleeds.

All the mixtrack use that same crossfader. I gave a mixtrack pro fx and trying to get a crossfader for it

the reason it did not work is that you broke the pcb track when you removed the slider.

Got an issue in a mixtrack platinum where sometimes the jogs don't respond to the touch as it should in vinyl mode. It's really unpredictable but I've tried different cables, usb ports, laptops and even programs. Someone told me it could be a ground issue, but even touching metal surfaces don't appear to help. Just wanted to know if u hv any ideas what can cause the problem. Thx
in that particular case, i would start with software, if everything is updated, then try a new USB cable, typically the usb cables and jacks are either go / nogo, but because it would be faster, and cheaper than cracking open your controller.... might also try a can of computer cleaner spray, pull all the knobs off and blast out the holes.... good luck.

What is the model of your crossfader? B10kx2 ***? What number?
I bought the next generation of these controllers with the paddle fx, can you replace these crossfaders with a innofader perhaps
Fam, how about telling us what the crossfader’s issue was in the first place ?? You keep saying it’s “faulty” but why? What is it that makes the crossfader faulty? I can’t tell if this is a fix for my problem or not.
The crossfader was bleeding into the other channel, sorry for not making it clear enough 🎚

I skint 2 lol..dont suppose your fix was the left fader I purchased 2x numark pro3 and both left deck faders faulty :(
Actually it was the crossfader & the right fader
I broke my volume fader after pushing it to hard what should I do
You should buy new better controller these cheaper ones aren’t made to last unless you want to replace the volume fader.
