  • Hey do you enjoy drink black coffee ? in this video I am teaching the differences between the two most popular coffees café Americano and long black coffee.
    These coffee (AMERICANO AND LONG BLACK COFFEE) look the same simply because they a all diluted espresso with hot water
    There preparation we use the same amount of espresso and hot water in both of them there difference:
    Americano we first extract 30 grams of espresso then add 100grams of hot water on top for an even mixture
    Long black coffee we first add 100grams of hot water into our cup then top it with the extracting of 30 grams of espresso
    There taste since the americano the espresso is mixed perfect with the hot water the taste is well balance and consistent when drinking as for the long black coffee since the espresso is poured on top of the hot water it has a strong test of coffee at the first drink but it goes on reducing as you go on drinking.

    Recently, I've been experimenting with a coffee machine and a nice grinder. I watch RUclips videos and read articles and forums. The results are cool. I mainly focus on espresso doppio, which is the base for other drinks. I love making coffee in a portafilter, even when something goes wrong. It happened that the beans were ground too finely or too coarsely and the extraction took too long or too short. It's OK now. I have the basics of a Lelit coffee maker and I still need to work on frothing milk a bit - at first there was a drama, but it's good now and I'm happy

    My choice is easy: a good pourover or aeropress.
    Espresso is great when it’s done well. But turning it into a long drink is kind of like pulling your short pants down when the weather gets cold. just put on some normal pants.
    But…When a shop doesn’t offer that option for me, I usually pick the Americano.

  • @kakwezimary2763
    @kakwezimary2763 Год назад +2

    And Dero I think making Americano if you first put some amount of water in the cup and later you add espresso on top of water... It makes a good texture the coffee texture remains on the top of the cup... Just try it out ☺️☺️

    Contrary to popular belief the term "Americano" coffee is derived from the Spanish speaking regions of the Caribbean, and likely used as a mildly derogatory term for the watery coffee favoured by US tourists. First found in print in a Jamaican newspaper in 1964, with the term entering the Italian language sometime in the 70s
