Thank you for this video. I have been studying all about espresso and different types of espresso drinks. Your video is the closest to what I have came across in my studies. Also thank you for using the 8oz cup.
Recently, I've been experimenting with a coffee machine and a nice grinder. I watch RUclips videos and read articles and forums. The results are cool. I mainly focus on espresso doppio, which is the base for other drinks. I love making coffee in a portafilter, even when something goes wrong. It happened that the beans were ground too finely or too coarsely and the extraction took too long or too short. It's OK now. I have the basics of a Lelit coffee maker and I still need to work on frothing milk a bit - at first there was a drama, but it's good now and I'm happy
I do learn alot in watching your videos and u have made me love my journey to becoming a Barista. May u be blessed for ur hard work and sharing Ur knowledge with us.👍👍👍
And Dero I think making Americano if you first put some amount of water in the cup and later you add espresso on top of water... It makes a good texture the coffee texture remains on the top of the cup... Just try it out ☺️☺️
Thank you for the comment so about the shot of espresso depends on the coffee shop standard our cafe both spout is double and spliting the the spout is single shot
@@Derothebarista aaah okay,I thought it is every where you do double shot,or single shot,am sure by the end of all your videos,I will fix my clarification on the differences
My choice is easy: a good pourover or aeropress. Espresso is great when it’s done well. But turning it into a long drink is kind of like pulling your short pants down when the weather gets cold. just put on some normal pants. But…When a shop doesn’t offer that option for me, I usually pick the Americano.
Contrary to popular belief the term "Americano" coffee is derived from the Spanish speaking regions of the Caribbean, and likely used as a mildly derogatory term for the watery coffee favoured by US tourists. First found in print in a Jamaican newspaper in 1964, with the term entering the Italian language sometime in the 70s

Sure message me on my instagram Dero de barista
Please to ask,if you don't measure it before extracting , what will happen
I measure to follow the brew ratio but if you program your grinder well you no need to measure every time

Very quick info; “the same”
Thanks for enliting me bor
Welcome bro ✌🏿️ appreciate
Great content
Rasanya berbeza terutama rasa lepas minum.
Dero de barista... this top is still confusing me! Can you repeat so that I can understand well
Espresso first water next
Great video except you're talking at low voice versus the background music is quite loud and makes it difficult to understand what you're saying.
I will try to improve it
If the customer says: I want black coffee, what should I suggest?
The common opinion is Americano if not v60 or chemex
Thx
Your welcome
Bro thx i have learnt alot from u may we be wasuping
Curious to find out if both drinks cost the same?
Of course bro they a both same price
Americano .... esspresso is flowing into hot water & long black the water is flowing into esspresso.....is that correct????
Yes it’s correct 👍🏿👍🏿
write whatever in your heart .
👍🏻♥️
Thank you
do you pour milk before cereals. or cereals before milk...
Long black and americano have no milk it just a request for same customers
Which cup are you using for 20g of coffee? 12oz??
Yes it a 8oz
Useful, but I'm not sure it really needed 4 mins to explain: Americano: coffee then water; Long Black, water then coffee.
Is the taste different?
in Americano single shot are double ? and how much ml hot water?
20g is a double shot.
Black coffee buy link do koie please
Didn’t understand
How get black coffee and where

Ok I didn’t know about that theory 👍🏽
WWII happened before 1964/where the term americano came from.
Why coffee, tasty bitter is it cause by under extraction or over on your video why you extraction time was 20s and output coffee drink was 30g.
Wanyala guga
The music was way too loud and annoying so I stopped.
Sorry to hear about that
Ethiopia❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
