I think that your statement of being Christian is kind of contradictive as as vessel himself has said he is the "vessel" for the sleep "goddess or spirit" to transmit its message to people...ergo, goes kind of against the religion to listen to a band that worships a different God or spirit... but no judgment here, do what you like pal :V
@@abrahamsanchez736 you ain't wrong. I struggled with it at first. Ran from alkaline on my suggested list for a couple weeks before I first listened to it. Probably not the most emotional of their songs but it made me start to dig. Fr.....the passion Vessel has is something the Christian God would be looking for. Hell.....I'd anticipate that any deity seeking worship would crave the love it feels like this dude has. Just sayin......I feel him. And it's stronger than any Christian music/singer/song I've ever heard. Vessel breaking down live while singing "thread the needle" and " the night does not belong to God" is the kind of emotion I have singing "Mary did you know". Elaborating to a woman that will/has seen her own child tortured, that He was going to perform miracles. I grew up in and out of a pentecostal church. Ive felt some stuff. I also feel this specific singer. More than any other singer I've ever heard. I just wanna hug his neck and tell him I love him.

I reckon he has a very interesting style and his singing technique does transmit the intention of his lyrics. Not sure what that actual intention is and what lies underneath the lyrics tho...
