Great ideas, however here are a few suggestions, since our “carry-on only” bags are limited on space, especially if you are on an international flight & weight is also an issue. So things need to do double duty. Plus being inexpensive. 1) Instead of a lockbox which can get taken with your chair (I’ve seen it happen!) Buy a 5L waterproof “Dry Bag” - then you carry your wallet, phone, jewelry, expensive sunglasses, & other valuables with you into the water. **Double Duty: if your bathers are wet but you still need to fly home, put your wet bathers into the dry bag - none of your items in your suitcase will get wet. 2) Instead of big towel clips, take small “Binder clips”. **Double Duty: they’re also great to use to hold the hotel curtains closed at night! Actually there is a multitude of travel hacks you can do with those binder clips, like using them as pegs to hang up any clothes you wash, say if your baby puked on you….speaking from experience! 😩 Or, since all hotels use white towels, each family member gets a difference coloured binder clip & clips it to their towel so you can tell whose towel is whose (stops arguments if your teens are fussy about using the other kids towel + you know which kid left their towel on the bathroom floor! 😉) Or use the clip to secure an opened bag of chips so the contents does not go all through your bag, or empty on the beach with a gust of wind. You get the picture on how great binders clips are. If you’re taking your own towel to the beach, sew 2 ribbons on each corner of the towel so you can tie it to your chair. Bonus you can also tie the towel to your balcony to dry & the wind wont blow it away! **Double Duty: tie it up on all 4 corners (or to the car) & use it as a privacy screen if getting undressed out of those wet bathers. 3) Hat clip: again, using your 2 binder clips, tie a ribbon between each clip, then clip one to the hat & then clip the other to your belongings. Or one to the hat & like in the video loop it around the handle & clip the 2nd one back on the hat . **Double Duty: if you make the ribbon in between the two clips long enough/extendable, you can clip one end to your hat & the other end to the back of your top, that way if a gust of wind comes you dont go running down the beach after it! Let’s just say many of my hacks have been hatched from bad experience. Ha ha!
Heyyyy. Funny the phone pouch is first. I don’t like my phone getting hot from the sun and leave it in my beach bag or shield it with a towel. Like this pouch. Not silly at all. Don’t like sand on my cups or bottles. Cool cup holder. Towel clips a great idea. Agreed. Nice neutral tone for the bag. Cool the magnetic hat clip. Like the visor. Again a neutral color. Great tips.
