But the juice I tested (new black bottles) was almost the same (at least in the drydown) as in two of my "older" bottles. It seems the concentration is the same aswell which is weird 🤷♂️ Don't quote me on that. In my videos I´ve been rating the "older" ones, so find one of those if you like the sound of it in my videos. I know most stores been trying to clear them out so they can push the new bottles.
Is the Aqua di Parma Colonia Leather discontinued ? I absolutley love that scent and now the one I can find in the prefume shop is Acqua di Parma leather from the ingridients line. Awsome video as allways. 🙂
The "old" one with the old brownish bottle design is being phased out.. Most stores should not have it anymore since AdP wanted it out. The new one (black) to me smells fairly similar ( at least in the drydown.) But I do know some others feel that the new one is WAY different than the old one 🤷♂️

@@rottenrebels I have CH Prive, La yuqawam, la nuit de lhomme edp and the are all nice, simturer are some designers that are good, it usually they are weaker. La yuqawam must have been reformulated, got the 2021 version and it is not very long lasting.

Assuming you’re as familiar with my picks as I am, I mostly get leather from these aside from a couple… Uomo Intense (vanilla leather) DHP (rose oud leather) Fabulous (clary sage almond leather) Or Encens (rose saffron incense leather) I agree not as much as Tuscan or Ombré Leather. Also, I get more cypress and fir balsams from my Bottega Veneta, Dark Rebel and Gucci Guilty Absolute, so just the same as the others with different supporting notes. I agree leather isn’t as prominent in CH Men Prive because I get more lavender and booze but it’s still there. Bvlgari Man In Black too, it’s more of a supporting note to the vanilla cinnamon and tobacco but there is a leather smoothness to my nose.
You should get your nose on a leather fragrance called "Rare Carbon" It is very good, strong and long lasting. As well affordable price. Alot of people say it smells like Ombre Leather.

Most I can agree with but Dior leather oud? DLO is a crime against humanity. Got some as a blind buy and finally after an hour had to scrub it off. Complete eye burner.
Hi Heber! It's a very different kind of scent and definitely a polarizing one.. It does trigger a lot of different reactions.. From pure love to dislikes and everything in between. As always.. beauty is in the eye of the beholder
@@rottenrebels In this case a burned eye :) I also blind bought Marly Godolfin and totally agree on that one. 9.5 is about right. Even sprayed it on my pillow the first day I got it. Its such a simple leather, that it can blend with others quite nicely. JPG le Male really works with it. Bvlgari Black (discontinued 2017) also works with it. BB smells rubberish (which is why the bottle is a tire). So you get tire rubber and leather if you add Marly Godolfin. Sweet and citrus seem to work the best. Very much like Tuscan Leather minus the raspberry I'm going to have to check out the other Marlys now. :)

I bought it and opened it up during my latest fragrance haul and it's definitely an interesting scent. Not as mass appealing as Godolphin but a more raw and slightly dirty kind of leather instead. Quite a cool release from PDM which usually mostly creates these super mass appealing kind of scents 😊

I´ll see if I can find a sample. 👍 What I've found is that there are a few perfumes out there that has a hint of what leather oud has, but that lacks the intensity of it. So like, I gotta really put my nose into a scent and then I might get a bit - just a bit - of leather oud. So there's only one leather oud, but I'm really glad you mentioned it because I would love to find something like Leather oud but different and different in a good way. 👌 Please do Let me know if you come across anything else that is sort of animalic, leathery and dirty in a good way 😊🙌

Some of the notes are similar but no oud Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cardamom, Cumin, Ginger, Nutmeg, Saffron & Cognac accord. Heart Notes: Cinnamon, Lentisk, Benzoin, Ciste Labdanum, Patchouli, Geranium & Myrrh. Base Notes: Sandalwood, Smoky Leather, Clary Sage, Animalic accord & Incense.

With intensity I meant more of that core scent of that sort of elegant dirtiness that it has. 😊 But when it comes to the actual performance of the scent, my bottle of it ( a bit older) is without a doubt one of my strongest (if not the strongest) perfumes. So I was a bit surprised when I started hearing of people saying it's not super strong.. So might be some changes to the juice or some other aspects at play (most likely the latter.) In terms of actual intensity (performance) mine is beast mode deluxe. Now I really gotta find a store to try Overture out, loving the notes! How strong is the incense in it? Usually not a fan of overly incense heavy perfumes.

Tom Ford Ombre Leather is, in my opinion, the best leather that can easily be worn and have received the most compliments with this one
