Both New England and Philly enter this Week 2 game trying to rebound after suffering embarrassing shutout losses to start the season, in the first meeting between Brady and McNabb.
It was, the schedule was great social media hadn’t corrupted the world yet and the league wasn’t in overkill mode like it is today with Thursday night football and 17 games
Crazy that the Eagles turned an 0-2 start in which scored 10 points total into a 12 win season with an NFC championship appearance. Also, the Pats started 2-2 this season and turned that into a Super Bowl win.
The Eagles first two losses in their new home at Lincoln Financial Field were against the defending Super Bowl Champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their eventual Champion New England Patriots.
15 years later the refs on the field and in ny make up for it by giving the eagles three touchdowns, and despite that they were down 5 with 3 minutes left before they won. what travesty that officiating was....
@@steve-km3oo Patriot fans are the biggest cunts in America. Absolutely nobody outside that whiny vagina of a fanbase had a problem with SB 52. Then peyton manning and the colts after the 2003 afc championship complained the pats were being to rough on the receivers, 2004 was when the league was getting REALLY SOFT and wanted it to be a passing league.
David Armijo yes but 2004 was really the year, when the refs were told to call the illegal contact penalty much more strictly cause before 2004, they called it, but not all the time

@@steve-km3oo Tony dungry is such an OVERRATED coach. He could not win in tampa, people say that gruden won with dungys players, but dungy could never win his players, let alone develop any qb. So he goes to the colts and he already has an established qb and could only win 1 superbowl. He should be thankful by 2005 when he started getting wins on the pats, the pats defense was getting old.
The Pats were a one year wonder at this point. After winning SB vs Rams they went 9 7 missed playoffs in 2002 and they had just gotten blown out shutout vs Bills in the Lawyer Milloy game. He had gotten cut by Belicheck and picked up by Bills. Players were mad at Belicheck cause they loved Lawyer. Some felt he was losing the team. Oh how that wasn’t the case. 4 straight nfc champ games, 5 total for the eagles in the 2000s. Favored in every single one of those games. Forget about winning; it is shocking that they only made ONE in that span.
Andy Reid had a habit of leaving Donavan McNabb in way too long. The year before he left him in while he was visibly sick even though the game was well in hand for Jacksonville.
Do you see those waterboys squirting water into everyone's mouth? They make between $55,000 to $65,000 a year. They get free travel with the team they work for. They get good health insurance and the possibility of earning more if their team plays in playoff games. Plus they get to hangout with the players and get to watch all the games from the sideline. That's a pretty cool job and they only work half of a year.

ProfessorB Media But the Eagles would win their first game at Lincoln financial Field against the Redskins

Limbaugh said McNabb was "overrated"
Regardless but that offended him
