Hey, can you please do superstripe(yellowbelly specter) next? I believe it's going to make a comeback soon and it already is starting to with superstripe combo going for 5k on morph market!. Just take a look at spotnose superstripe and leopard superstripe.
I swear when u wake up you think what could I teach punkrawkah today? Then you go, oh yeah I think he has a stellar looking puma I'll go ahead and teach him what i know.... well last week I remembered that the adult female I have is a pastel yellow belly. So I checked the puma and her on WOB and was blown away. Totally threw a wrench in my current future breeding plan list with the collection I'm building now. If I can get hardwick pieds into my puma game......
My first ball python is a female spark, I got her because I wanted something slightly more than a normal but wanted to do a "rescue", so she's secondhand from Craigslist. She's been awesome, she's really getting big! I was curious how the Spark goes with other stuff, it sounds like it's pretty limited other than doing Puma stuff since it's a subtle morph. That Spark Specter and Spark Gravel Pastel were really neat, but it seems like getting that look is pretty inconsistent. I may still pair her with my banana pied boy when they're old enough just for fun, I don't plan on getting any more than the 2 ball pythons I have, they're both sweeties. There's so many morphs now, it seems like when I go to a show I still see something I don't know about!
I actually bought some het caramel albinos because I wanted big breeders, I've pretty much ignored the het part of the genetics, you can breed some co-doms with her!
On World of Ball Pythons I noticed a supposed Co-Dominant morph called, "Arctic," but I personally can't find any info on it. It's really pretty for being mostly shades of brown. If it's not too much trouble maybe you can find info? I'm new to ball pythons and reptiles in general. Love your videos and have a great day! 🙂
Would love a video like this on “phantom” morph , my boy came from a banana phantom & pastel Mojave kinda curious to see your thoughts n such on it. Or like a video of all “similar name” morphs, the ones with ghost phantom, coral glow, banana stuff like that
Have you ever heard of or seen a Vanilla Spark? I picked up a snake for a project and was told it was a Vanilla Spark but I cannot find any information on the morph combination.
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures I plan on breeding her to my yellowbelly next year but was confused because she doesn't look like a general Spark at all and had never seen another snake morph that looks quite like her.
So if I bred my pinstripe to my puma , would I get pinstripe pumas or sparks/Yellowbelly/pinstripe? Because when I put the pairing into the genetic wizard I get no combo results 🤔
The puma acts as a super so it will only give off one gene or the other. So you’d get 25% yellow belly, 25% spark, 25% yellow belly pinstripe, 25% spark pinstripe.
Question I have a lesser het gstripe and a pastel spider both male. What 2 females should I get to attempt breeding? Thanks. And I have a 15 year old normal female, is she to old to breed?
I actually have a butter spark I plan on pairing with my od jigsaw do you know if anyone has every produced a triple recessive I got a pied het orange ghost that I wanna try to make a albino pied og
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures what is a spark do u know what genes make it thanks for the reply I've never heard of it untill today I came across a pastel spark n I'm curious about it and cant find much
Great Video. Crazy morphs ! Informative! TY Chris
I'm getting a Spark soon 😁 can't Wait !
spark is pretty cool

Wait I just googled puma pied and got nothing......

I like these kinds of videos from u
That’s a nice looking ball python
Really cool video idea would be a series on color enhancers or pattern breakup morphs.
DO you think we will ever get to the point where we aren't confusing the terms "gene" and "allele"?
Do some more vids on your snakes
You should do a video like this on pied and spiders... If you havent already.
Awesome! Thanks! 🙏
Bobby is a baller.
😁
Have you done any research on a super stripe ?

If you breed a Spark and a Yellowbelly you get a Puma

I'd get a Mojave for your Lesser and go for the white snake. Should be OK at 15 years, they can live almost 50 years.
I actually have a butter spark I plan on pairing with my od jigsaw do you know if anyone has every produced a triple recessive I got a pied het orange ghost that I wanna try to make a albino pied og
Good evening chris!, will I get normals of I do pairing like puma x normals? I was told allelic combos dont make normals because they are ASLs
That's right, no normals.
What would happen if you breed a super spark with a albino
You'll get all normal looking snakes, all Spark het albino, but if you bred the babies together you'd get albino super sparks!
So what is the spark its Lot about puma but how can u tell what a spark is or what features does it have on its own
I'm not an expert on Spark but I'm guessing it has the same subtle markers as Yellowbelly since most people can't tell them apart.
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures thank u I swear it's the hardest morph to find any info on them
Hey chris wats the next expo ur going to be attending?
I'll be at Reptilian Nation Denver on Sat Feb 22nd, but I won't have any snakes, just my camera LOL
Chris Hardwick haha awesome. Let me rephrase. Wats the next expo youll be selling your snakes at?
Hi
This did not explain the spark gene at all just combos with it in it
That's pretty much what I've been focusing on, just breeding and making combos with different genes.
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures what is a spark do u know what genes make it thanks for the reply I've never heard of it untill today I came across a pastel spark n I'm curious about it and cant find much
Spark really is very subtle. Not a real special gene from what i am seeing lol
First
YES!
