These animations are amazing and the only thing I think that you need to add is an explosion for the ships. I know there already is one for destroying big ships but just the explosion and then the sinking animation afterwards would be so satisfying to watch. awesome game!

One thing you can add is that the The broken bits of the ship is actually underwater when it starts the sink so that's not like anticlimactic or something like that I don't know how to describe it

You could make the ships sink from bow, tip over or from stern, it would happen deepnding on where the most damage is and would be more realistic

Make the sinking vary so it looks less repetitive. Make on in a v-break, one that capsizes, and one the sinks sort of like the titanic.
