On a separate note, last night (Saturday 8 February 2025) was the crowning night of the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP) in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Huge congratulations to Miss Samoa for being crowned the new Pacific Queen. A well-deserved winner, in my humble opinion. Of what I observed over the last week during the week-long Pre-Pageant and the crowning night presentations, she conducted and carried herself well. She embodies elegance, grace, dignity, tactfulness, humility, beauty, intelligence, wisdom and Christian Values. Her Christian Values brightly shone through especially during the ‘Talent’ and ‘Traditional Attire’ presentations at the crowning night last night where she paid tribute to her Christian Heritage. She is one who has made the choice to listen to and follow the Voice of the Shepherd.
