It’s been very enjoyable watching Lions TV over the season. Keeping fingers crossed, you get the players Millwall are targeting for next season.
He's got three years left on his contract, he states he's very happy at Notts and they've just made him captain. Questions have been asked about his ability to step up a division for the last three years and his response has been 32 goals, 42 goals and then 29 goals in his first season in the EFL. So if Millwall or any Championship club are serious then they must make a very substantial offer. Goal scorers of his pedigree are very rare indeed 5:33 . 😎🇬🇷
He says himself that he wants to go up the league...with Notts. Nobody else was mentioned. Losing Langstaff would likely mean losing promotion and the season so Notts wouldn't risk it..
So maybe they have made a bid but it won't be accepted there's too much at stake.

They can bid all they like; he ain't leaving Notts. The club has made him captain and he regards it as an honour to play for Notts. He has no intention of leaving. The club have invested in him to get promotion, he loves being at Notts so forget it. it's not happening! (A Notts fan)
He will leave you this summer, to us or someone else. You’re a nothing club in comparison to established championship clubs.

If your interested in what langstaff does and how he scores look at notts county's top ten goals of the season 22-23 langstaff came from 8 levels below the football league but you cannot go wrong with the price you ve paid we ll miss him at notts but good luck with him he ll be one bound for Premier league

@@Boxing328edit ‘unproven striker at championship level’. Definitely a proven striker though with 101 league goals in 144 games. I don’t know his official record including cups. I think it’s about 106 in 150 games.

Even so, you’re saying you have players currently that can better the record of Langstaff at over 30 goals a season for 3 seasons in different leagues and positions. He only played as a number 9 when he went to Notts, and his record is better than Vardys and equal to mullin who has played in 3 promotion seasons. Give over! Can’t see this working out for Millwall. It would be very odd for Langstaff to accept the captaincy and then leave as he’d know there’ll be clubs looking at a potential transfer with his prolific record.
Why wouldn’t he rather Millwall over Notts County? It’s a no brainer
