      Thanks for watching champ. I agree and would much prefer skeleton over normal. Soo many times I’ve had the most subtle of bites and if you don’t strike, you’re not getting the fish.

    He mate, I recently found your channel and I’m really enjoying your content, keep it up!
    I have the SK 722LRS in my collection and I love it, for a regular tapered rod it’s extremely crisp and versatile. I mainly use it for small jerk baits, blades and plastics even though Daiwa have designed it for crank baits.
    My question is, how much different is the SK 722LFS to the 722LRS ? And how similar is the 722LFS to the Infeet z 712LFS? I can see in your descriptions you also have these rods so I’d appreciate your opinion.
    I’m considering the SK 681 too as I don’t have a tight cover rod, do you think you could throw over 7g with it?
    Cheers

    • @TheFinesseAngler
      @TheFinesseAngler  2 месяца назад

      I really appreciate the support buddy! Looking forward to producing more videos in the future. The 722LRS is amazing, I use mine for cranka crabs/ Mussel and the spike 44 and it performs soo well. The 722LFS is definitely more crisp, It’s got more sensitivity and lighter than the Infeet Z 712LFS. I’ve found that you get more distance with the SK as well. The recovery of the rod blank after a cast is also great which helps with accuracy. I generally take the weight rating of a rod as a guide, I try to stick within the guidelines but sometimes you can go slightly under or over however there is always a risk. The 681 is the ultimate tight quarters rod! You’ll love it.

    Nice mate, ripper ep, they go hard but not as hard as bream ay. I have an older grubfreak and samurai, both have skeleton grips, they are good, fingers touch the rod blank for serious sensitivity. Not super comfy but when its needed i love them. I do prefer the rod butt to lay on my forearm which helps with power control, leverage is key.

    • @TheFinesseAngler
      @TheFinesseAngler  2 месяца назад

      The video doesn’t do justice for how tall this EP was! It did fight like a plastic bag on the end of my line though 😂. I noticed they go harder in Autumn though. I’ve also got a Samurai with a skeleton grip, I find the SK to be more suited to my hands.
