This shows that after a whole career of decimating everyone who opposed him he grew tired of the constant title defense, so he sought out an up and coming boxer to pass his legendary skill on to in the hopes of developing them into a prestigious fighter, and hopefully the one who would finally best him in the ring and ultimately put him at peace.
the sound design for this game is so good. every punch feels brutal and weighty, the crowd reacting on time with major hits, the announcer shouting fight- everything feels awesome. hell, even just the dings from knocking the endurance off your opponent directly scratches the serotonin button in my brain
There is no sound as brutal as Viktor delivering a MASSIVE right hook to your head. I don't know what it is about his punches but oh my god they hit hard 😂 The whistle followed by "POOMF" and your Miis head almost flies off your shoulders

The only way the shop can be revived is when matt beats shaggy. Sadly however, both know eachothers moves and it will be a draw. They should do a Mii boxing game on the switch with all the weight classes, rules (No standing 8-count or three Knockdown rule) of the different states (E.G. Nevada State Athletic Commission) and associations (E.G. WBC or IBF), a Mii referee, Online play, and a PPV mode where you’re getting to fight in Nevada on a PPV event for a championship.

tips for anyone wishing to take on boxing: •please literally just block and dodge •hooks and uppercuts do more damage than regular punches •if you dodge a punch well, the game will slow down and give you time to get in a good counter •idk if this is actually useful but i think the clock actually goes 3x fast than normal time •all the earlier enemies will usually need you to knock the down 2 times in order to get a ko and pros will need 3 •you need 1500 skill level to fight matt
Here's a tip for everyone still trying to complete Wii Boxing: When your opponent punches slow, you have roughly under a second to make a guaranteed critical hit on your enemy boxer.
2 things 1: You can activate the white gloves after becoming a pro. (Forgot how tho) 2: I used to try hard this SO much I got level 2065. The line went off the grid 😂😂😂
As a person who’s score used to be 2000+ in boxing, the foolproof method of winning is to strafe from side to side until you get the slow-mo effect, then combo the crap out of your opponent. won every time edit: put 3k instead of 2k lol
