Awesome video 👍🏼 by far the best I’ve seen ... My opinion is it depends on your situation, I’m from New York born and raised and now live in Miami . I feel like if I had enough money like if I were rich lol I’d move back to New York and have a place in Miami for the Winter months , not a big fan of cold weather . New York changed after Bloomberg’s administration you basically have to be rich in order to enjoy what the city has to offer . Miami on the other hand you can be a regular person with a regular job and still live a pretty awesome lifestyle 💯 So that’s my input
@batonbeauty NYC is much older. If you're able to make good money in Miami then the lifestyle is infinitely better down here. Try to limit your commute though. Traffic can be bad.
I love both, I feel like miami would be better for a vacation house to escape the winters up north, but I feel NYC would be better to live in cause you dont need a car to go anywhere, you can walk and have really good public transportation plus nyc has everything basically open 24/7, in miami places close way earlier in the evening, and NYC has more jobs, it is the literal hub of everything, plus miami has to worry more about hurricanes where as even if there are going to be hurricanes in nyc, by the time the hurricanes reach more northern states, they end up becoming very weak.
BestStockStrategy I live about 10 mins away from Newport Beach it’s beautiful no doubt we have over 40 million people here in California it seriously feels like a country not a state lol it’s hella expensive I’m considering moving
We are thinking of moving to Brickell from NYC. Do you have any suggestions for the elementary school in that area? So far I only found a new school called KLA. Thanks
KLA is very nice. The church at 609 Brickell Ave also has a good school. I don't believe that the education is religious, rather I think it's more agnostic. Ive heard good things about both the program at the church and KLA. Both have long waiting lists I believe.
Do you still live in miami? So I left nyc when pandemic started and moved around a bit but been in brickell almost a year. Now debating over moving back to NYC. A bit back and forth on it but ultimately, nyc has better people/things to do/higher income but small apartments and quite expensive now.
I bought a house about an hour north of Miami. I think Brickell provides an easy transition from Manhattan. I actually checked NYC apartment rental prices today and.... I was shocked to see that prices are much higher than they used to be. Miami rents are also incredibly expensive now.
Miami !!! Nyc is better in the summer time I’ll say but everything else Miami just shits on nyc . Better nightlife , better food , better looking woman
Lmao I understand Mami is all that but Mami don't experience all seasons which is really boring while NYC has every weather you get to experience the cold the spring the hot boiling sun literally everything.
You know I’ve been in miami for a year and I miss nyc. I can’t relate to people here - maybe because I like intellectual people, I don’t party, I don’t like humidity, and without a car here you’re limited to little area you live in, doesn’t feel safe when it gets dark outside, people here not so good - only friends I made are form nyc and Chicago haha goes to show that it’s hard to find quality here and that bothers me. The only thing I like here is more nature, sunshine and larger nicer apartments. That’s it. But I miss people. The buzz. Feeling alive. And that’s nyc.
I will aways prefure miami. In new york people live like paco fish in a can.everthing is smaller, theirs less space. You cant even have a car because you don't find were to park it. Here in miami most of the people dont know how to use public transport. Over 75% of people in new york dont use cars. Here in miami every people has a car including teenageers. And there is way much space than new york. Most of the new yorkian people don,t know how to drive hahaha like my uncle and some cousins.
@@BestStockStrategy Overall, what tips the scales in favor of Miami? I work remotely in tech, and I've considered moving to both New York and Miami. On one hand, I love NYC. Most of my friends moved there after college and had a great time. On the other, I've also considered moving to Miami, due to the weather, beaches, sunshine, etc. Ultimately, for you, why is life in Miami "significantly better"?
Lower taxes, better quality of life, more attractive women, lower cost of living, newer infrastructure. The only plus for NYC is better jobs but even that's shifting. Many of my former friends from NYC have actually moved down to South Florida due to corona. And they aren't moving back.
@@BestStockStrategy Yeah, with the high taxes and bad management in NYC, I suspect that a lot of people will move. I have some friends and acquaintances that are moving from NYC to FL. Sort of surprised though to hear you say "more attractive women." Most of my NYC buddies said great things about the dating scene in New York. I'm going to move to miami, because in new york, you get 3 months of good weather and 9 months of cold/snow/rain/mud/windy days, It's stupid.
Yes, I moved from NYC and love it in Miami
@@BestStockStrategy how much does it cost to rent an apartment in miami? like 20 or 30 minutes from the beach?
Depends on the neighborhood. You can check out miamicondoinvestments.com for rental rates. Rents are about 50% of what they are in Manhattan.
"Physical benefits", I like that wording🤣
🤣❤️
