It was a surprise birthday gift from my grandmother, and she wanted to get a PS5 because used to play Crash Bandicoot on the PS2. We were trying to get one for months since it came out (you can guess how well that went) and we got close a couple of times, but the websites we were on would crash before we could complete the order. We decided to wait awhile until the sales slowed down, or at least that’s what she told me. I got home from work one day and went into the living room, where she was sitting with a huge box. She told me that it was an early birthday present, and let me open it. I didn’t know it was a PS5 until I opened it, and I felt very similar to how you felt in this video. Apparently, she managed to buy one off of QVC (the shopping network), and it was only available for about 5 minutes! She didn’t even know if she successfully got it until she got the email! Quite possibly my biggest flex ever is getting a PS5 in the first batch that ever went up on Amazon the night (in the US) after the State of Play price reveal. My luck was WILD. Getting it on release was amazing, but my games wouldn’t update and I had stuttering problems for about a month until they finally updated the software - I was nervous to play it because Miles Morales wouldn’t work at all and constantly gave me an error that it was corrupted on my system. Amazing and terrifying. 😂
This is the reason i wish he’d do more genuinely nice guy roleplays. I tingle way more when the person is really enjoying themselves. He should do a review of the new Lego Star Wars game.

I’m so glad you got one! I got mine by pure chance, the Best Buy near where I lived had some in stock and I quickly hopped on the chance. Within a few days I was walking out of the Best Buy holding my very own ps5 in my arms, I was so overjoyed. And it really does give you a great gaming experience, everything feels smooth and fluid. Load times are nonexistent.
I got one at the same time as Fred! Maybe even the same restock. However, my ps5 arrived faulty. So I am currently being ran in circles by both playsation and the store I bought the ps5 from. Not a good expereicne unfortunately. Especially since this is my first playsation since the PS2!!! Kinda regretting it 😕

Hate the design but love the functionality of the PS5. I hope you can get a new one without hassle and that it works out great for you. A Hat in Time in 60fps is fantastic, one of my favorite games.

I used the ps5 controller on my pc for a while before I was able to get the console. By the time I did get it, the controller was by far my favorite I've used. Can't wait to see what Sony does with its new tech in upcoming titles. Enjoy it. I'd say you've thoroughly earned it.

In Returnal the controller clicks and makes water noises and feels like water is running through the controller. It's great. ALSO hold off for the PlayStation VR2 the sequel to their first VR headset. That will be coming out and is specifically made for PS5!

Elden Ring is an amazing game that will win game of the year. Some people say it is hard, but you can control the difficulty. I would say it is the easiest soulsborn game.
For me Demon's Souls remake is the easiest one but I would put Elden Ring right after. I've thought it would be much harder but it was actually chill af lmao.

Elden Ring is an amazing game that will win game of the year. Some people say it is hard, but you can control the difficulty. I would say it is the easiest soulsborn game.
For me Demon's Souls remake is the easiest one but I would put Elden Ring right after. I've thought it would be much harder but it was actually chill af lmao.
Blood borne so far is the easiest for me

Disclaimer: Don't want to start the PS/Xbox debate, so please no-one try. Personally I picked up a Series X, so that I could play all of my old 360 games, but I had a PS4 previous gen. Presentation wise, inside the box, Xbox is better, but let's be honest, who cares. The fact that Xbox controllers do not have rechargable batteries is frankly appalling but anyway. The videos where you unbox or otherwise handle gaming tech are my favorites, but you also make so many other great videos. Honestly, any time youre speaking about anything its good ASMR.
