The title almost has you say, “oh thank God he didn’t drown.. oh wait 😢”. God rest him, what an awful experience! Peace and prayers for he and the family!
Although he survived I think the guy who got attacked by a shark, managed to get into his car, drove towards the hospital but had to stop to rest, then got attacked by a pride of lions might take that title.
So sad for this young man. Bad enough being pulled out by a rip tide and almost drowning. Then to have THIS happen!! Scary AF!! May his friend RIP. Awful thing to witness....
You’re saying that Peter and his friends were strong and experienced swimmers yet he had no clue on how to exit a simple Rip Current?? All ocean goers and swimmers know that you always exit via the side and to never fight against them, You go with the flow! Spotting them from shore and knowing not to enter a rip current should be common practice. I can imagine the shark nearby sensed the splashing and struggle with the high waves so he investigated the swimmer thinking it was an injured animal and attacked. This is soo sad! The importance of knowing how to locate rip currents and how to exist them are vital! Many tourists drown here in Hawaii because of them. Please, Be cautious and vigilant, the ocean and her creatures are to be respected! You are in their home and the sea is unpredictable. May his soul be at rest and heal! Poor guy! 🙏🏽🤍🦈🌊
sheeesh, this title: gives you hope in the first half of the sentence, just to snatch it away in the second. (poor guy. he went from possible death...to imminent death)
It’s a terrible way to die by sharks I think you’ve all seen the Russian boy who got eaten, he was screaming for help and another English Person who was eaten and cut in half by a great white in Australia, I don’t want to even imagine how painful this was for them.
Apparently there is so much adrenaline surging when this occurs that there is no actual pain. Not until the adrenaline relents (if they survive that long). Obviously it’s beyond terrifying, but I guess it’s the fear and confusion and shock of the moment that dominates the senses.
Doom despair, agony on me, dark deep depression excessive misery, if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all, doom despair and agony on me...... thanks Hee Haw for the. Music 🎶
It was the 50's and a lot of things were just hearsay. There was a time sharks weren't even considered dangerous. Plus, this still happens even today. Locals at some places warn tourists that there's sharks but because they check the internet and see that there have been little to no attacks in that area they don't believe them.
Imagine being tired 😪 from swimming 🏊♀️ and unable to swim 🏊♀️ back because of the tides and then a shark 🦈 coming after you. I would have just had a stroke or heart attack legit for real. The fear from this is enough to make you want to never 👎 swim 🏊♀️ out far. All it takes is one wrong move, then you’re just history.
3:21 Poor dude in the wave doesn't look too lively😕. Poor guy waving his arms in front of the wave's about to be slammed by a floating body. We have soooo many tourists/newcomers here in Australia who don't realise how strong our currents are. They're continuously being rescued. Our sharks aren't their biggest threat. They usually tend to leave us alone. Our waves, riptides etc are a different story altogether.
Always swim sideways or parallel to the beach when caught in a rip. Same rules apply if you find yourself washed in off the rocks in rough surf. Don’t bother trying to swim against the tide, the rip, the swell etc…you’ll lose 11/10 times.
I still think that guy in India (I think it was India) who had a 1 minute + cat and mouse with a tiger shark all caught on camera, people recording and repeating "omg omg" with his dad and girlfriend watching, begging his dad to help him! 😬😳 obviously I never imagined being eaten alive by a shark a picnic but holy shhhmokes it's a billion times worse than I imagined and made me look at sharks differently forever 😢 another bad one was Jordan Lindsey 21, who was torn apart with her mom desperately trying to save her, ugh, she finally got her away and that poor mother hears her daughter saying "mom, there's another one coming" 😢😭😱 those poor people don't deserve that, no one does!
I'm starting to think some of these stories aren't real. If sharks rarely attack people then why is there endless content on these channels of sharks attacking people?
Never commented on a youtube video before. But come on. This is a "story" from the 1950s!!!! Somehow you managed to spend your time compiling an endless array of "real" footage of people swimming in the ocean and sharks in their domain, the ocean that they live in? People actually swim in the ocean? Really? And wait...sharks live in the ocean? Amazing. Seriously Bud come up with some better material than this if your lifes work is to be a youtube influencer. Pretty freaking weak I must say. Yep, sharks live in the ocean, it isnt a swimming pool. And this story could have been told without the sorry attempt of showing half ass footage of people enjoying themselves in the water (as thousands do each day,) or shots of those sharks from national geographic or the discovery channel. Get out from behind your computer chair Bud. You might learn something.
Reason I repent all GOD creations and the power that come with it, when you dont repent it, it will make you respect it in the worse horrible way possible amen

Same here!
The timing couldn't have been any better with that comment to this specific video!😵
So die by drowning, or die by Great White.....
Judgement. He did something and owed a spiritual death.
I mean this isn’t a joke but either way he was going to past sadly it was by shark not the ocean …ocean with the assist tho

Hey they both were worried they were to tired to make it back to shore so the shark had to do what it could to give him the needed motivation
Thank god he was saved from drowning!!
Please tell me that title was meant as click bait!
It’s hard for me to hit the like button on these videos.
Right, there should be a “appreciate the content, but not happy people are being ripped apart” button.

Thank you ☺️ Final Affliction for another awesome 😎 shark 🦈 video ❤❤🎉🎉🎉 keep them COMING 🎉🎉🎉🎉

The title almost makes you think the shark saved him.
That title of this video was basically a lose-lose situation! Either you die by shark or water! What is the lesser of two evils????

Who would hear stories about sharks in an area of the ocean and not believe them?? Smh.

you can skip for first 8 min of this "circle talking" video. Holy shit they couldnt make this more boring if they tried
Good video
Many year's in the ocean surfing 🌊🌊 body boarding Free swimming.. Thank God it never happened 🌊🙏🌊..
You know you just effed yourself right? You're definitely going to be not just attacked but fully consumed by a great white. Bad luck mate
You're pushing your luck 😂 jinxed yourself lol
Riptide’s are generally not very wide. You have to swim perpendicular to the shore
If someone gets eaten by a shark, you can always claim that they were about to drown before it happened.
Half the beginning of that vid was all yap
To drown and be eaten is my new fear.
Awful

FAKE shark attack right?
No. It really happened. But misleading headline. And inaccurate claims. He weaves stories about people's deaths.
Bruh it happened on April 28 that’s my birthday
That’s horrible. Accepting you are about to die one way and boom you get attacked by a shark 🦈
Thats too bad the person lost their life. It was very poor planning/ ignorance in knowing there were waves, sharks and tides happening in the area.
Swimming in Californian waters is seriously dumb.
