Working on a no penalty emblem build, one where I even out the reductions and boosts but try to match emblem colors for pokemon that use both special and physical attack.
With all the other stuff the fanbase as been asking for (improved matchmaking/ranked, additional maps, new held/battle items) I'm annoyed that these emblems are what Pokemon Unite decided to prioritize first.
well this does play an indirect role towards *helping* fix matchmaking , noobs and brainless players that watch a RUclips vid slap on some items and go brrrrr can’t do that anymore , hopefully they’ll get overwhelmed and just quit the game . No more brainless players , better match making . Simple .
Maybe with the emblem content implemented they will actually start focusing on improving the existing systems, instead of adding new ones. I think a lot of us could have anticipated a rune-like system, but at this point I doubt there would be anything like this added again. Meaning they can start working on them now
This is the exact crap I was worried about when they introduced these emblems. Before we were all on the same playing level because everyone can get and level held items quite easily, no RNG. On top of that, I liked unite over other MOBA's because it's simple, held items, battle item, and your in game skills. I'm probably the odd man out in this thought but whatever.
7 black emblem also isnt that hard getting into , especially theres the seasonal Battle Points milestone that iirc gives 3 kind of black emblem, you just need to gacha for 4 more if what you mean is the gold and silver things, thats not really bring much to the table, the significance right now is just having 7 black even bronze will do, which is not that hard to get into i'd agree it gives a lil p2w aspect as theres 4x boost using gems, but as long u get your 7 black (even if bronze) you're safe
It's more that the developers clearly haven't taken all possible combinations of emblems and pokemon into account loading to certain combinations that are far more op than others imo
The CDR has made players trying to rank very difficult because they will destroy anyone without the emblems. It’s not a fair play at all. I appreciate the gameplay but either they need to make all emblem builds accessible from the start or get rid of them. We shouldn’t have to grind them when they make this much of a huge difference in game. It’s not good for the game long term at all
The emblems shouldn't be time gated by this trash energy system, that's the main issue, It doesn't make sense to have the same currency for emblems and cosmetics.

Newer players will have a very hard time getting into the game, and even long time players that didn't hoarded energy like crazy will be penalize. It's really not a good system, but I'm not surprised, they half assed a lot of things in unite.

@@Kyle0787 I've been playing since switch release, so I'm kind of good (even though I had not a lot of energy stacked up because it's an ocd of mine, I can't stand the little red dots and stuff on a menu). Managed to do a full cdr and sp attack build which is good, but I lack a lot of the best ones and I still have no gold emblems. But I'm not dumb, I know that new players will think this is unfair and p2w, they already charge WAY to much on skins considering how low effort they are (for that kind of prices we should be expecting changes on every of that pokemon's animations for all abilities).
In the survey I wrote they need to rework held items, emblems and make it so pokemon are Max level in game modes to prevent lv4s going up against lv10s. They do listen to the surgery so if enough people want the game balanced I'm sure they will find a way, it is only 1y/o so they have time to learn more about how to create a great game
I fear a nerf on cdr incoming, and it's shame because sp attacker finally feel fun to play. Before you always felt like you had A LOT of downtime between your spells.
After watching your two Delphox videos, I like using frame charge more than fire spin. The damage is higher, the cooldown is better, also frame charge can give me a better position to stay in a safe place.

Being OP and breaking something aren’t the same . God SpAttackers can’t shine without people moaning about their “broken” NO they can finally compete against ADC’s and it should stay that way
im sorry if some of you are offended by this but this is just my opinion.tbh, i think these emblems shouldn't have exist in the first place cause it will take a very long time getting certain enblems that you want for your mains especially if you're not multirole and you have to merge them if you want more good stats on your mains plus the color combinations really makes this game more pay to win. and even if you had merged enblems that increase more certain stats for your pokemon, it also still has its negative effects which makes me had to choose really carefully which emblems am i going for because some of the negative effects will just ruin my pokemon even though i had a decent increased stat. for me, i personally not a big fan of boost enblems but will try to get the hang of it.
try out Sylveon plz! both move sets with this CDR build allow for perma uptime. hyper voice still better, & mystical fire needs lvl 10 for perma uptime but lowkey more fun to play :)
I think they should cap the black from 7 to straight 10 meaning you fully commit to it, but they also need to reduce the cdr benefits. As people have mentioned at the current state Emblems may become a barrier for new players and certain builds do make certain pokemon unbalanced. I’ve been kind of disheartened by how quick people I’ve seen online immediately writing off this game as trash now.
@@yoshuatree8538 Items made sense, but emblems adds an extra layer of complexity. They definitely should make the penalties more severe. Perhaps even for certain colors. Emblems with two colors is an example.
I guess even the tubers are going to keep milking the cdr spatker and crit builds instead of actually experimenting with emblems. Yeah we get it.. Cdr is great with pretty much everything. Make moves go brrr faster. How about some experimenting with health, def, spdef speed and hinderance reduction builds so people can learn how to use it and stop dying so damn much.
@@CrisHeroes Thats an opinion, and it’s the easiest to build. Bro, I get a max of over 1000 def and just under 1000 spdef on Blastoise at lvl 15 when In rapid spinning. Thats significantly higher than most attackers can put out damage, even with their 4% emblem buff. I am WRECKING in ranked right now, already over 1500 masters.

Cooldown is great, but youre also sacrificing items and only getting like a second off. Play around with defenders and supports, and try to come up with some good pink and yellow builds.
Unite always go for the 1 step forward 10 steps back it's disgusting. These Emblems shouldn't be here on live on should have been tested on beta. Yes they did nerf Absol but they made a lot of other pokemon Unbalanced in exchange 🤦♂️

Cris on my snorlax the defense and sp defense are very good I am getting way less damage from the attackers I might try to add the hindurence one because apparently they are really good on tanks
Tried this build right now and I have to say last hitting in lane is tough till level 6 with this build. Lane delphox needs choice specs. I might either switch shell bell or buddy barrier with choice specs when going in lane. Probably shell bell.
Anybody want to play duos or trios? I’m a season 1 master who won some tournaments back then, but just came back for the anniversary event. If anybody wants to grind to master lmk. We don’t have to voice chat I just want a decent teammate or two to run games with . I get matched up against masters and ultras ever game but my teammates are literal children who constantly throw

Everyone is still on an even playing field. Use hinderance reduction(pink) to counter shit like this if thats whats bothering you.

Emblems are literally such a game changer. For stats Unite DB had those too. Just click on the mon you wanna check and it's under stats.

There just aren't good yellow or pink build we don't even have enough pinks yet for the 2. And 3. Effect

use the extra energy tanks and you can get alot of energy from them
no. you can purchase all the energy you want with tanks but the game only allows 30 “spins” per day.
