I saw a post on Facebook where the guy posted a clip of an airliner he was using, barely mantaining control, like, he was going up and down like 100 feet the entire time and he was banking almost 90 degrees when turning and then showed a 2020 clip of the same plane but way more stable. I could easily tell this guy was a new simmer that got on with MSFS 2020, because I also hoped on with the 2020 sim. The thing I noticed was that in the 2020 clip he obviously had many assistance options turned on, not all of them, but custom, while in the 2024 clip he obviously had all of them turned off, that's why he was going from left to right horizontally and up and down constantly, I had that same problem with the beginner Cessna as I was not used to having 100% control of the plane. Also the 90° banking, he was following the in-game's fly markers and tried to stay between them, obviously that's not gonna work, not even the AP follows those tight turns.
For me: *1: launch* terrible *2: default aircraft* great *3: 3d world* Is really good, but sometimes it glitches when flying in a world update city. I also saw a flying house with a long stair case outside trieben. _(Pic in my community tab)_ *4: performance (xbox series s)* crashes, cant spawn planes larger than a321 or it crashes, lags a bit but is bearable. *5: Physics* i havent noticed a difference. *6: my complaint* msfs 2024 changed controls on xbox from msfs2020, so i have to get used to them, and they also make it a real pain to change controls back to what they were in 2020 also the hot air balloons are a bit broken. I dont know how to use them properly, but allost every time, i somehow climb from 200feet to 8k, uncontrollablly and randomly
My rtx3060 handles it surprisingly well. Didn’t crash once and I get around 30-40 fps on 1440p medium settings. Didn’t crash once and haven’t had any connection issues on release.
Isps will often host speed test servers at their locations to give you higher speed in those tests, but you won't get that speed with other sites. So try speed tests that have locations from a different city at least.
@@Airbus_A380AX Same it’s ridiculous the game genuinely won’t let me fly most of the time and even then my game will freeze with certain planes and the only ones I can fly are like the regular airliners it’s really weird .
When I accelerate in a propeller plane I can actually feel the propeller pull the plane forward while the wings and tail have realistic air drag tugging on me from behind, mind blowingly accurate!
And you can also walk around in the ground mode (this time you actually have a physical character) and you can also remove the engine covers and the chalk from the gears and it's graphics are so good that you can read texts on the engines, landing gears, etc
So I like it, really, especially the career mode. Everything you said is real. But… 1. They still couldn’t resolve FADEC planes problem. I was doing delivery of VL-3 and of course, the RPM was red lining. So, in my absolute genius, I thought hey, maybe I would try a propeller lever (it shouldn’t work but you know, MSFS). It worked. But the RPM stuck in half and I couldn’t get them up, so I fell of the sky with max IAS around 50. Of course I tried to restart, but the planes are saving config so yeah, I needed to abandon the mission. 2. Beaver is unplayable due to limited fuel that you can’t change. This is extremely off putting as it was the only plane available after I did tail endorsement. Every mission around 2 hours of flight is a crash out of fuel. (If you have your own plane - refuel via EFD before starting engine - but it is not always working). I heard about assigning fuel up key too. 3. They still didn’t resolve the trim axis problem. When you fly on velocity one, you need to unbind the circle for triming and bound it to thumb panel - otherwise, any random input (or not) will cause a immediate-100 nose dive. So yeah, I am flying my own company using only c172 because I am afraid that something else in other plane would be bugged and I only waste 2h of my time. Otherwise great experience. And the 4 seasons - something out of this world.
When it finally loaded, 4 days later... the A400 wouldn't accelerate, the A10 felt like the flaps were stuck and on steroids (or I have stick drift pulling back which i don't) so yeah, back to 2020

My personal thoughts. 1. Launch: Absolute disaster 2. Default Aircraft: The majority of them are really good but there’s still some that need some work 3. Performance (Xbox Series S). It’s pretty good. I can run 720P which I get is quite low but I don’t mind it and it only ever crashes if I’m playing for like more than 2 hours. 4. Graphics: Amazing. IDC that I run 720P. After day one this game has been super amazing. Flying feels so much better and it looks beautiful. Unfortunately the A400 is completely broken and the 737 max doesn’t have any exterior lights.

Talking as a student pilot, to be totally honest, that simulator is still really different from reality. When i tried it for the first time i surely noticed that the graphics got better but lots of things regarding the physics of the planes actually suck (you'll start to notice it so much if you'll ever start actual flight training). The only good things i noticed about the physics of the sim seemed like the slow flight, for some reason that one feels good lmfao
I'm honestly surprised the physics feel more like X-Plane. It's great to have a feeling the mass behind you when flying. In my opinion, I'm sold: great graphics and better physics
Also career from what I’ve seen of others play is bugged, which from what I’ve seen is when they have to tell control that they want to take off but freezes, so they would lose points for just taking off without asking if the runway is clear.
As somebody with a mid range pc and 30Mbps internet speeds I can say that I haven't had any performance problems and since the dust has settled after launch, the loading hasn't even been too bad.
Look, when it comes to the 3d model it may look better in popular places around the world like New York or the Grand Canyon, but the island of Tenerife has more trees than a rainforest. Something had to go wrong there

My father was going to buy me a 300 hundred dollar flight sim controller but we can’t afford it so that just makes me sad have a good day
Hey Aaron, I have bought the aviators edition but I only have 70 planes to chose from. Do you now why perhaps?
@@tomgodfroid1003 yeah I got the premium deluxe and I don’t have the extra planes
@@JTR-_- I hope they solve this soon. I dont now where to turn to with this…
The f18 is way better. In 2020 you could pull high g maneuvers without losing speed. But in 2024 now you can loose speed making it a fun challenge
He has a 4090 so the preformance isn’t great. Probably would have been a good idea to mention that in the video.
I don’t know if it was just me but my controls were really messed up and backwards and it took me forever to figure out and fix all of them
I am going to wait till it’s December so it will be a bit better
On xbox I can't even assign controls to my turtle beach flight yoke as my mouse isn't working and can't navigate the menus on controller as it isn't letting me.
Frustrating to say the least. Hopefully a fix soon
I have a lot of problems with ATC. Doesn't works properly.
I flew out of O'Hare and crashed at 9,000ft. Not quite sure. It reset me at 0 air speed and 6,000ft. Mine has been working horribly.
Doesn’t seem to be working properly on my xbox and also keeps getting stuck. Graphics wont load properly- a lot of issues. Very disappointed.
I have a lower end "gaming" pc from HP, yes HP. Surprisingly, it let me install it. Tho it does say your pc doesn't meet thr minimum requirements. It still runs decent tho.
Launch: 1/10. I was in the login queue for over an hour
Graphics: 7/10 that's almost TOO good for my pc
Physics: haven't exactly tested
Textures: haven't exactly tested
I dont think the hate on reviews is fair cuz we all know it'l get fixed.
I don’t even have engine noises💀
My poor 1080TI with a 3600 really actually runs fine on 2020 (I’m not planning to get 2024)
msfs players when the physics are more like xplane: *i need a refund*
Its so sad that my computer will break when i download it (i never downloaded it)
I love Microsoft flight simulator2024 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Three out of five Microsoft 2020 2024 we’re good except 2024. It’s just not my style.
My experience has been pretty bad my flight gear is completely inverted compared to 2020
Not gonna lie. This game/sim is so big and I can see why it would have allot wrong in the beginning.
