My dad used to pick me up from school with a sack of those burgers and we'd go down to Riverside Park near the Ambassador Bridge. There's the only mail boat with it's own zip code - the Prescott that would take mail out to passing freighters. One of my favorite memories with my dad. Nice to see you got to enjoy that place with your dad too.

Just so you know, Motz opened new store in Redford, MI. It's on Plymouth Road between Beech Daly and Inkster. Great burgers. Great chicken sandwich. Redford is about 20-30 minutes west of the Motz on Fort Street,
I'm really excited about it. I'm born and raised at Schoolcraft & Inkster in Redford Township so next time I'm in the area, I'm gonna get a Motz burger or two.

Those were some excellent looking sliders. I live in slider country. White Castle Sliders are much smaller and not as fresh looking. I wish I had a Motz's near me. I would try them in a heart beat. Of course, I can make sliders like that at home to. Nothing wrong with a small fresh cooked burger. Your dad does a good job impersonating you. 🙂

I used to live here and been to all the spots. The best places are the smallest. Lafayette Coney dogs. Also hears the scoop all the bangers. There is sa place called fish bone.. hella good. I dont miss the winters tho

Food for thought: this place use to be called White Tower back in the day there were 30 of them in Detroit alone and others in Ohio Wisconsin and Minnesota back in the 20s and then White Castle sued them in 1929 and won because they would hire white castle employees to get there inside secrets to how they would do things plus they built there buildings just like White Castle.White Tower was then ordered by the supreme court to pay royalties to White Castle and was ordered to stop copying White Castle there's still a few of these buildings in and around the Detroit area like the one Sean and his Dad visited and the only White Tower still open to this day is in Ohio.
