Exactly, it's a shame! Brazil's motorsport fans miss Jacarepaguá a lot, like, we even had MotoGP races there and now, the track was destroyed for a one month event that happens every TWO years, so sad.
It was the for the Olympics. A temping and lucrative venture, but long term,….. oof. And it is every Four years if you don’t count the Winter Olympics, so….
People always say IMS is a "Four Cornered Road Course with high speeds" Then you get this thing... And just scratch your head. I miss this circuit, was one of the first "hybrid" circuits as it was the site for many Brazilian Formula 1 GP events.
Listen to those wound up V8 twin turbos! That's what we like. Though I applaud the Indycar management for the gains they've made. They're the best form of circuit racing right now. Way ahead of Nascar and Formula 1.

That could be fantastic, to comeback to Australia, but they need to find a big sponsor with a good amount of money for the teams, specially when budgets from the small teams are tight.
@@homeperson11244 for many time, I was thinking the same, having DHL in the series, with the captain now in charge, I'm mean.... we don't have to be a genius that association has to be, the captain with his influence could reach an agreement, and that could be fantastic in terms of logistics, budget and financial.
@@fabian_balle well in the past CART was in his prime with great ratings, they started his season in Australia , but I'm not saying that the series has to start the season in Australia , what I was saying is that the series has to comeback to Australia , can be second, third round, whatever, whole thing is IndyCar should comeback to Australia , as the same I'm all in favor to come back to Japan in the twin ring Motegi, having NTT in the lines plus Honda and Takuma in the series , this should be a motivation to fix the track and recover a venue who is really important to the series.

These "Champ Cars" are the prettiest Indy Cars *ever*
Rio, my hometown. Sadly, this track doesn`t exist anymore. I attended at all Indycar races is Rio, from 1996 until 2000. Good times.
Me, too!
I like the way Cart cars look over today's IndyCar bodystyles.
Well yeah, this was still the golden era of CART.

No. It's just good timing.
