Awesome video! Your entire channel is exactly what I have been looking for. I am very interested in medical physics. I am currently studying electrical engineering, any advice regarding wanting to go from electrical engineering onto medical physics. Also, do you think there is some over lap?

My honest advice is that I do not know a whole lot about electrical engineering projects and the transition into MedPhys. Any field heavy in physical science (physics, math, chem, bio) is going to be at an advantage. It's important to have research and development experience. If you have experience with computer programming and software development that is a huge advantage. If you have experience designing technological equipment and devices that is a bonus. Largely, the determining factor will be how hard and how consistent of a worker you are. If you are a hard worker with a physical science background, I think you will be fine.

Great channel! How often do medical physicists do treatment planning? Or is this something that mostly dosimetrists do nowadays?

Is there any risks in the work field for diagnostic medical physicists? Anything due to constant exposure of radiations and so on?

Can you become a med physicists with just a bachelor's degree?

No, the minimum is a Master of science but, even then the field favours Ph.D and Post-docs.
