      Her reactions show that she is not a good person. She is very selfish and whiny. She is definitely a very sore loser, although you don't have to feel like a loser after such an epic fight. I am very disappointed with Demi Vollering's behaviour. She and her team seem to fit well together.

    • @FlorenVL
      @FlorenVL 28 дней назад

      @@michael-101 Are you serious?
      You have to know Demi Vollering has been in a world of pain since that crash in stage 5, she has been trying to hide it to the outside world
      She has been fighting ever since, and when she gets to know that after all her fighting she only lost it by 4 seconds makes come out all of the emotions and in that moment it gets the bigger part of her and of course it feels like your a big loser
      but she told to the dutch media in an interview after the stage that maybe in a few days she can realise that she has actually won a stage on Alpe d'Huez which is pretty special
      yes she has got used to winning stage races, but after all the hard training, sacrificing all these days and being alone on altitude working to such a big goal as the TDFF, and not reaching your goal in this way, because of a crash and being left alone by your team, would you not be disappointed and feel like you lost everything?

In my opinion if you compare this TDF with the one from the men then 4 seconds are much more thrilling than like 5 minutes between Tadej and Jonas. Huge congrats to Katarzyna for winning the TDF femmes 2024. But well fought from Demi as well, she almost recouvered her big backlog to the yellow jersey. Congrats SD Worx. Demi lost the overall by 4 secs. If either Kata BV or Lorena W had been instructed to wait for their yellow jersey team leader on Stage 5, she would have won this tour... SHAME ON YOU SD WORX for sacrificing a stage win and green jersey points for the TDF Overall title. which has to be one of the most stupid tactical (or jealousy) based cycling decisions of ALL TIME! 4 seconds HOW DUMB DOES IT GET! Congrats Katia N... you are a great ambassador for cycling! Send SDW a bottle of champagne for the assist.

    • @benkeijs
      @benkeijs 29 дней назад +1

      You're so right in this. Lorena Wiebes saw the yellow jersey (Demi Vollering) on the ground and yet decided not to help.
      Another moment where Demi Vollering lost the tour was yesterday, when she attacked quite early on the col du Glandon. Everybody in the peleton knows that in between the Glandon and the Alpe d'Huez there is a tricky valley (including a crosswind) of some 15 kilometers. The worst tactical move is to be on your own (Vollering had no help of Rooijakkers) against a group. In this valley Vollering blew herself up.
      Had Vollering waited with attack until the climb of the Alpe d'Huez, she would have won the Tour de France.
      So what puzzles me is why the SDWorx teammanager didn't advised her to wait.
      So, SDWorx failed in both stages completely, which cost Demi Vollering the Tour de France.

      @@benkeijs It's not clear b/c there is no close video of the Vollering crash only blurry overhead shots, but I've heard it was Lorena Wiebes who actually crashed into Vollering. Then she was quoted on an interview afterwards "When I looked back, I did see something yellow on the ground. So that's a huge bummer." What? I know Vollering is leaving SDW at the end of the year but still. Who needs rivals/enemies with a teammate like that?

  • @Nangoncrazy
    @Nangoncrazy 29 дней назад +43

    1. Vollering best (GC) rider overall.
    2. Kasia won the tour though.
    3. Sdworkx worst team in the history of cycling.
    4. Wiebes worst teammate of this yrs tour.
    5. TdF Femme needs to improve overall (team) tactics and communication.
    6. This is only possible if the whole peloton improves in quality. Meaning each team needs riders capable of the work that the super domestiques in the mens race are capable of. So we need more riders with the quality of Demi and Kasia for better team tactics.. We need more really good riders

    SDWorx = Sans Demi Works. Poor Demi, no team spirit in that "team".

    SDW terrible. Wiebes next level disgusting and envy. Fight till the end by Vollering after a crash and such a beachy betrayal is huge👍.

    If it would be a technical after the crash (the director of SDW said the radio did not function properly) it is still no excuse to tell the others from the team to stop to help!
    The are a lot of old school solutions to keep communication!
    To paraphrase, something is rotten in the state of SDW...

    Where was the team to help bring back Demi after she fell? She lost over a minute right there. Four seconds should never have been an issue...

    The meanness of Pauline Rooijakkers is incredible. By not helping Vollering, she might not have won the Tour, but at least she would have finished second. She also had the chance to win the Tour. Or would she prefer that her compatriot did not win? The Yellow, Red or Pink Jersey in women's cycling has no hierarchy. The attitude of female cyclists can be counterproductive for the image of their sport. Annemiek van Vlueten attacking Vollering while he was urinating last season. The leaders attack Vollering in his fall and SD Works does not support him.
    Even worse at the Olympic Games where they decide not to fight for the gold with Kristen Faulkner because Marianne Vos, Lotte Kopecky and Blanka Vas boycotted each other, who ran to prevent her from winning any of the three.
    There have been three Olympics and several World Championships and there is no good atmosphere among the Dutch team. Demi Vollering is not a saint either, for some reason she does not fit in. Their emotional fatigue is evident from the beginning of the season when they announced their departure from the team.
    In the end, they lose in image what they have worked so hard for. Many publishers and programs have dedicated time against SD Works, I don't believe in the idea that all publicity is good. It is known that Annemiek van Vlueten came to Movistar because no one wanted her in the other teams and she does not obey the instructions of the Directors.

    Great riding to Kasia but she inherited the yellow jersey by Demi's crash, she didn't earn it. Demi showed how much more stronger she was overall this year. Her win on Alpe d'Huez was such a beautiful statement and no one can hide that truth. I'm so happy she won it.

      Not fair to say that Kasia didn’t earn it. She was the beneficiary of some good fortune along the way but she rode like a boss today and literally had the virtual yellow ripped from her at least three times today and clawed her way back. Kasia earned that maillot jaune.

      in sports it's not your impressions that count, it's who crosses the finish line first. Kasia arrived faster by four seconds and she is the best. everything else is loser bullshit

      Vollering is the better rider for sure. But Niewiadoma had alliances while Vollering didn't seem to have any even within her own team. Stay on your bike is an important skill regardless who started the crash.
