I really like when the super natural characters are depicted to have eyes that are completely one colour
Ikr it’s so ethereal, but also mythologically Circe is a daughter of Helios and her golden eyes and fiery hair are some of the only features she inherited from him. She has “human speech” unlike the other gods so the only things separating her from a mortal appearance are her eyes. So not only is this depiction gorgeous, its also lore accurate

so if u imagine them as birds in My Goodbye, when athena tells him that’s he’s “just a man”, it’s like……..u may be a bird. BUT URE A SMALLER LESS THREATENING BIRD

I haven't seen another animatic of this where he looks like he is genuinely struggling to keep his composure and self control. I LOVE THIS. Because the fact that he genuinely feels pulled to her and is STILL able to break away for his love of Penelope just feels so very powerful. I'm obsessed, thank you for sharing 😭

Oh and I love the part where Circe disarms Ody, how she slowly guides his wrist behind him to then gently take the knife from his hand hhhhhh its so smooth and gentle i keep repeating it, i don't really know how difficult it is for animators to animate limbs in a way that seems natural to how they move but i find it impressive either way. gj wolfy your works are always a treat

Unfinished or not your skill is spilling out of this like it a faucet man. The symbolism with the bird and snake may be obvious but it's still beautiful and the fluidity is gorgeous for how early on this looks considering parts are still in the very rough stages. Their emotions are clear, the intent is clear, the proportions on the more cleaned up areas are phenomenal this is genuinely amazing even as an unfinished wip

I LOVE the choice to have Circe preparing to kill Odysseus up until he refuses her! It add so much tension to the seen and the snake and bird metaphor was also excellent!!

I just wanna tell you that ever since I saw Full Speed Ahead from a long while back, you have become my favorite EPIC creator (at the time, and now you remain one of my top favorites!). Your Odysseus design has always been the one I like the most.
Eventhough it's 'unfinished' I use my imagination to fill in the holes. Hope the rest of it gets uploaded someday

The snake and bird symbolism. Snake is predator Bird is prey to the snake. Circe is snake, Odysseus is bird. Circe is predator, Odysseus is prey to Circe (and no not in *that* way, more of an evolutionary/circle of life way) Predator circles prey before they strike. Circe is lulling Odysseus into a false sense of security before she strikes with her blade.
