Search local bee keeper associations, or places that sell bee keeping equipment. Either or both can usually refer you to some local folks who can do this work. Same if you see a swarm trying to nest in your eaves or a tree. Honey bees are especially prone to swarming in spring. Swarms are super easy to put in a hive box.

I have to disagree with that lol. I'm severely allergic to their sting. I was standing beside my truck fueling up at our shop and I had one to do a fly by and pop me on the neck. As soon as it stung me I slap it and the honey bee fell to the ground. I raked the stinger from my neck instantly and had to use my epi-pen. I didn't see it of provoke it in anyway. I have had them land on me or I put my hand out for them to walk from the strand onto my hand and not once have I ever been stung. So I was thinking as I read your message and thought that even though you think you might not have done anything to scare the bee, but the fact you know you could die from a bee sting, that might have meant you tensed up maybe? In doing so, the bee may have thought you were attacking it and stung you in self defence. And the fact the bee ended up on the floor, well maybe you were that nervous you unconsciously swatted the bee without thinking and it was merely depending itself. I'm not saying that's what happened, just it could have been a maybe?
@@random-person1 no actually this is the only time I've been stung and could not figure out why. I know I unknowingly provoked that sting.. The honey bee I had know idea he was anywhere around. I was standing there holding the fuel nozzle in one hand and my other hand was in my pocket. A bee coming up was the last thing I had on my mind at the time. I truly believe he just accidentally flew into me on his way by and when he did he just instinctively stung me. Honey bees have always been one of my least worries. Wasp and yellow jackets are the ones I keep s real close eye on I had a group of hornets help me out this past summer. Did you know native americans farmed without bees ? They called them the white man's fly . They're not even from the Americas . There are over 22000 other bugs that do the same thing bees do without the honey . I'm really not trying to be a jerk about this but I don't want to see people spending their energy on problems that aren't really problems . It's silly to think bringing bees here wouldn't kill off anything ,so what is gone as a result of the bee ? Save the bees but kill these ! Could be a good tee shirt . That said honey rules and bees are pretty cool.
Honeybees hurt nature in North America because they are not indigenous and thus they outcompete native bees for resources. Though you are right, farms do rely on bees and honeybees are useful because they more readily use the flowers on crop plants. (Check me on that last point, I am not totally sure. It would depend on the plant.)

People like her are more than beekeepers they're full-on bee business people. They get paid to collect their livestock or at worst get livestock for free. They house them and move them around and rent out to farmers for pollination of crops. And they collect and sell the honey and wax. And that all starts with collecting the bees from places where people do not want them. Stellar business model and so important for bees and the planet. ❤🐝
Actually, the honey bee, is not the bee that needs saving, it’s all of the other bees that need our help, especially because honey bees are only interested in flowers that are not necessarily that beneficial to people, unless you are a factory farmer, growing trees in a monoculture, which is not good for the environment………….. Also, the massive explosion of bee keepers, is stopping the other bee species from being able to survive, because they are unable to feed in the areas where there’s lots of beehives, and this means that there are detrimental effects on the wider bee populations………… And it’s the massive factory farming industry/methods, which are helping to kill off most of the bees, because these “farmers” are using neo-nicotinides and other insect killing poisons(when the commercial beehives have been moved), some of which are poisoning our water…….
@@ArghansMordonMarghek I agree with what you say about factory farming being bad for bees and actually it's bad for all wildlife everything is sacrificed for the monocultured plants. That does not change the fact that that is the business model for Honey Bee keepers. Seems like most people have been concerned about the honey bee, you don't hear or read about people talking about other species of bees so much. Not that they're not important, but they obviously don't have a commercial value or people would be concerned about them. And that doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned about them. Actually the way to eat to have the smallest dead animals footprint is to be a carnivore who eats grass-fed beef. Monoculture kills more animals per acre than any other type of farming.
@@therealdeal3672. If people want to do better for the planet and the environment, then they should eat local produce, whether it’s meat or veg, because that way, the people of the world who live in areas where they have two or three crops a year, wouldn’t be hungry, as many are, but the very worst produce to eat, is the perishable foods that are flown around the world(such as avocados 🥑 where they are grown in Mexico, there’s local people going hungry, and I know a woman from New Zealand, who is eating more produce from there, now that she is living in the UK, because in New Zealand, most of their produce is sold to our supermarkets, and this means that what’s left is very expensive, which is a disgusting state of affairs), because that’s not just destroying areas with the monocultures of factory farming, & it’s frigging the air quality too, so, if it can’t be shipped by sea, and it is from the other side of the ocean/world then don’t buy it……..
That's a smart useful business that doesn't produce harmful waste. Thankfully the owner of the shed didn't resort to spraying poison killing a very valuable resource!

I know bees only sting to protect themselves but this is a whole new level of bravery.
Guess he was just a young hot-rodder🤣
@@LH-kz2nf I have a lavender bush in my front garden and every year it attracts big and little bees (they look like wasps to be honest). I sometimes spend an hour standing there just watching these bees flitting from one strand to the other.
Wasp and yellow jackets are the ones I keep s real close eye on
I had a group of hornets help me out this past summer. Evidently there was a nest of them somewhere near by. I think Inuit would survive, they are almost obligate carnivores that can live off sea meat exclusively.

❤🐝
Beezness
Actually, the honey bee, is not the bee that needs saving, it’s all of the other bees that need our help, especially because honey bees are only interested in flowers that are not necessarily that beneficial to people, unless you are a factory farmer, growing trees in a monoculture, which is not good for the environment…………..
Also, the massive explosion of bee keepers, is stopping the other bee species from being able to survive, because they are unable to feed in the areas where there’s lots of beehives, and this means that there are detrimental effects on the wider bee populations…………
And it’s the massive factory farming industry/methods, which are helping to kill off most of the bees, because these “farmers” are using neo-nicotinides and other insect killing poisons(when the commercial beehives have been moved), some of which are poisoning our water…….
