    This channel is the greatest thing I've found on RUclips. I grew up in Blythe, wandering the deserts with my uncles, Pipkin family. I am so amazed this exists.

    LIKE LIKE LIKE...... I guess it was mine is protected by its very difficult and hard to get to...... I'm old but I would like to think I could make it one time...... as the government closed these mines off....... if you have the time message me.... this would be a bucket list for me keep me healthy and active........ you guys are rebuilding the channel and it's great every part that everybody plays is great thank you very much...... I so enjoy everybody in here

      @@jaytee5122 just go north on 17 , Crown King is a good place but take a side arm with you, have fun . ps . there is some good apps for star finding for your phone just go to the play store...

    Thanks Jack.. Super interesting.. wish I was there to tag along on sone of your outings.. I must say living in Chandler In the late 70s early 80s I was apprehensive going into the Superstitions for fear of running into some rouge persons that wouldn’t think twice of plugging you with lead.. heard some stories about that taking place at that time.. Great hearing you..Hats off to ya!!!

    Anyway I could pay for a tour? Go see these mines, sign a waiver? Lived in Mesa for 30 years. Been up and down the supers enough to call them my backyard. Haven't spent alot of time on the west side and would like to see more.

    I live very close to the Carney mine. The last time I was there was about 2010. The guano was very intense at the rear of the mine. The smell of ammonia was over powering. I didn't have an oxygen monitor but I didn't need one I smelled the ammonia turned around and left.
    I hear bat guano is a sought after fertilizer.
    A person who has the proper breathing apparatus could probably make some money "mining" the guano.

    600ft - drill, blast, muck..... and black rattlesnakes, and 300 bats.... Near TeaPot cave with dessert tortises..

    You telling the story a little different jack ....but nothing big buy the way you told it before it sounded better before I thought but it is the same story it's different though ..but Charlie would be proud I'm sure..God bless all you older gentleman
