Hahahaha , he's also got a lovely white Jack Russell Terrier.
In every video he introduces himself as what sounds like a sneeze, "ERASHHVVV!"
His name is Assaf Levavy. He just says it very fast.
Don't sweat about the other guy, this song sounds so cool on acoustic that half the guitarists on the planet have some version of it. It's a beautiful haunting piece when dropped to G and played finger style. This video will be very helpful to a lot of people - well done.

I was challenged by our lead guitarist that if I wanted to sing any particular song I would have to come up with the TAB for it. I do not play an instrument. In searching for what ever TAB meant I encountered this arrangement. I was so impressed I did something I've never done I subscribed.

Your lessons are best. Just best.
What you play is different from what you show in the lesson. i dont get behind the pattern on the 1st melody part, where you combine rhythm and melody. you only show the melody tabs when you talk about the melody part, but that sounds kinda empty. Im trying to fill it up with some random bassnotes, but cant establish a good pattern :)Other than that great work man, i love your lessons!

I started learning stand by me from you (this is next when Im done with that) just after a few days of doing some new hand exercises for strength and finger independence.Which is perfect for me because I noticed that you are a heavy pinky/ringfinger player rather than index middle finger.

This is amazing. Thank you. I did notice when you played it that the 5th bar was the G finger pattern and then begin the verse, but when you teach it, the 5th bar of G is missing. The downloaded tab is missing the intro.....fyi. But thank you for this. Really great arrangement.

if you google the chord Barry, and click images you will find pictures of the shapes. I pinted them off while i was learnig and its really usefull for some of the more awkward or less common positions . Hope it helps, , good luck with the song.

I like the way you play the whole song first and follow it up with the demonstration.To me it's the best way.Perfect.And with your chords there's no more room for improvements.Oh just one thing.Would be nice if you can find a program to print your tabs in the computer and not look like Einstein's writing his formulas.But it's the best tutorial out there.

Do you happen to have an easy fingerstyle tab for Green Days' 21 Guns? I've found some but it's like you need 15 fingers to play it. There aren't any beginner-friendly tutorials either.

Ya I don't know if a video tutorial could break down all of that lol. I found a good one a while ago but I forget where it was, I think it was for Over the Rainbow or maybe Angelina and it cleared up a lot of problems I had with his other songs.
