Hey Beef, I was looking for that slugs video u made recently but can't seem to find it on your channel, i'm starting to think I imagined that whole video in my head lol...was it taken down?
The schmidt pm II is my main scope for sniping, the fact you can put a rangefinder on top and actually read the range easily puts it above other optics for me
The monstrum 2x is my favorite scope in the game, my go-to when I'm not using a walther red dot, elcans and acogs are my 2nd choice, so I can see the trihawk fitting in quite nicely, but I'll be honest; I didn't know it existed.
only reason I dont use the 2x scope as a main scope is because I lose a lot of FPS when using ANY picture-in-picture scope. Most systems, even top end, lose about 10-30% fps when using a zoom scope. I only get 70ish fps to begin with so when it drops down to 50 it becomes unplayable. sucks lol
@@mtbSTL I hadn't noticed that, that really sucks, at least there's a lot of good red dot sights that still work up to a 100m if you are a decent shot. Hell even the iron sights are pretty good on some guns. Hope you can find a solution.

Glad to see this optic getting some love, been getting tonnes of usage out of it on a surpressed mini mosin secondary (Ironically, most raids it ends up the only gun I shoot, aha.) on woods and taken out Shturman with it a lot. I’m hoping that with the sweeping change of how guns don’t bend from your wrist but instead from your shoulder, almost all sights will have close to no vignetting and maintain sight picture. Or they can fix our pmc not knowing what eye relief is, and actually put the scope close enough to our face to not get any black smudge on the edges anyway.
I find it weird to use at closer ranges, I tend to run the razor on interchange. It let's me play my style of hit and run plus abusing gun advantage well and the 1x is pretty much perfect. Any time I'm in that middle ground just to far for laser the trihawks lack of a one times basically makes me feel extremely clostrophobic. Idk that's just my take.
Definitely agree with you that we should get more low power scopes. Outside of the eotech with magnifier and monstrum I don't think there is any. I would kill for a 1.5x optic honestly
What you're referring to as 'vignetting' is the effect of the optic's eyebox. The eyebox on an optic is the area in which, if you look through an optic, you can actually see - light from the far side is getting directed to your eyes. An optic with a small eyebox means that if your eye moves slightly out of position (in Tarkov, leaning or movement or recoil), then you see black because you're not in the area where the optic is focusing the light. This is the advantage of a red dot sight over the 1x setting on an LPVO, for example, because even though the 1x setting has no magnification, it's still passing the light through an arrangement of lenses, and thus has an eyebox you have to worry about.
Gigs, dude I bought EFT 2 weeks ago and the learning curve is tough. I did have a very successful scav raid last night that brought my spirits up though! I’m not sure when I first started watching your channel, but now I can’t stop. So many videos, short, long, in between. Thank you for uploading! Do you ever do Sherpa raids?
fun tip if you're getting weird vignettes from sights that should have a great sight picture it's likely the gun. it's very possible for the sight position to be too far forward/backward. some are a little more consistent but i occasionally bump into weird combinations that make the sight picture slightly off.
Agreed. Tried playing around with this a bit with the different mounts for the Ak/Vityaz - B13V Klassika, Kobra etc. Some of them seem to put the sight further back than if mounted on a dustcover rail, giving a slightly better view through the scope/sight. Some place the scope at the back of the mount and some in the centre - that inch or two can make a difference. Though some may prefer the smaller scoped image and have the sight take up less of their field of view when scoped in - I guess it depends on the player.
@@acciaiomorti Yeah, we have a few of those niggles across the variety of stuff we have but it's better than the Vomz Pilad with a Valday/PSO combo we had spawning earlier this wipe lol.. Though not a Depeche Mode fan, the M1A does make me think of Personal Jesus - 'reach out and touch me'
@@len2477 AKdemia Bastion Dust Cover is what most people use because of it's high availability and low price from Skier LL1. You need to remember to remove the rearsights though. It also gives -1% recoil for some reason.
I've been loving this scope! I love the mix of a low magnification scope combined with a 45 offset red dot. I start my wipe with PSOs and run them most of the wipe. This just give me a good western counterpart.
The vignetting you are referring to is just called “scope shadow”. I realize for gaming purposes vignette is understood and works fine - but adding some info if describing in relation to optics. Applies to magnifiers and prisms too
The Bravo/top mount recoil bug still happens, if you switch to the top mounted sight while staying aimed down sights, the recoil is worse, however, if you aim away switch sights and then aim back the recoil is normal.
That bug applies to literally any scope with a dot on top, or canted dots as well. I've reported it multiple times. No fix. Bsg too worried about stuff we don't care instead of fixes to basic things...
I can't wait to finally get this optic. I own a few real guns and the only optics I run are SwampFox besides one cheapy I have on a bb-gun. Seeing Swampfox in the game is really cool.
i've been rocking the swampfox with a delta point on a 45 degree mount. I really like this setup, lets me reach out a little further compared to a eotech and I still have a good red dot for room clearing.
For the Bravo / Hammr, the recoil makes the reticle extra floaty if you ads right after switching optics. Which is why you'll see gameplay where people double tap ads for these when using the red dot. Cheers!
For me it's sporadic, and for the floatiness to happen outdoors. Possibly related to other settings, but with Tarkov it's likely a grab bag of optimization issues that start at the optic bug still being around.
The super budget scope is NPZ 1P78-1 2.8x scope, it is low zoom and works with any side railed sks/ak/vepr, I use on ultra budget runs in maps like Customs, medium range snipes
also at 7:59, it seems the new scope can clear the front post of the Adar iron sight, as it can be seen to clear the chunky laser on the rail which other sights cant do, so it is nice to save some cost
I've been using this bravo this wipe. I think it's great, but at 60k with the delta point it's a bit pricey. So depends how much you value the red dot. I value it a lot.
Found it and used it pretty early on. I agree the reticle is pretty clean, but my main problem is the hard locked 3x. It always feels like just too little zoom or way too much zoom for up close. It’s kinda like the BNTI helmet (BNTI is statistically better than an exfil, but worse than an altyn, with an exfil you can use headsets which is a big advantage imo.) It simply fills a grey space that really doesn’t need to be filled. All things considered i don’t dislike it, I think it’s awesome that there IS something to fill a grey space. It just adds to variety and that helps the game.
it's wild that it's probably the higher screen recoil that makes you see better through this scope cause it follows the scope more which seems kinda, counterintuitive
@@pakman184 not enough lmao. Semi auto 5.45 has less velocity and punch than 5.56, less punch than 7.62, .308, and... basically everything else. Just use an ADAR if you want cheap semi auto 🥱
@@CataclysmicDuck At the same time, good ammunition is substantially more obtainable for it so I could see it as a fair budget option on midrange-style maps.
I use the bravo optic a ton, its a fair price and performs better than other optics in terms of eye relief and vignette. To keep it cheap you can put a pk-06 on the top, but the pk-06 has a very large amount of wobble and sway issues, making it hard to use.
Hey real quick the effect is actually not really called vignetting, IIRC it's Eye relief & Eye box (How far and where your eye needs to be to get a clear sight picture)
for me, this wipe, the acog with the attached irons is best, acog is so clean and they finally fixed mouse sensitivity being fucked up if u have irons on the acog
I used to use the Bravo all the time and the monstrum is my favorite sight in game but this wipe I have been using the valday and of course the Vudu a lot
Ever since last wipe, the PMII has been my go to scope. Lighthouse, Shoreline, Lighthouse, Woods. It has a great 1x and the 8x feels just right when 6x isn't enough. The lower sens is a little weird, but you get used to it real quick.
I prefer the BRAVO4 for that sight type and been using it with the red triangle red dot exclusively for a bit now. Compared to the Swampfox, it's a hair cheaper, much bigger sight picture, no eyebox issues (I think the Swampfox is okay on this but many other sights in the space suuuck with it). I'm not a huge fan of the reticle, which is similar to the Swampfox, but I don't like the Swampfox reticle either. The PM II(? the 3-12 version) used to be my favorite, but it takes up so much space on the screen, comes with a huge ergo penalty, and I found myself losing time in fights switching between the 3x and the 12x, always feeling like I wanted a middle ground.
I used it with a vpo 215 on interchange a few times, its a clean scope but I’d rather use a prism as its cheaper or other scopes like vudu or razor for obvious reasons
The reason that at least I don't use the bravo or the HAMR anymore is due to it being inaccurate when aiming directly at something. At least that was the problem that I had 2 wipes ago, and I haven't used them since cause I never heard anyone talk about them being fixed.
swampfox is a smaller brand in the optic/gun world kinda like vortex but without the big ad budget . I plan on getting one of their optics and slapping it on my short boi 10.5 build irl. Id say one of good things tarkov does is mesh gun dudes and gamers into one big community some already being on one side then entering the other etc.
Honestly I always just valday or a cheap red dot. Can get valday for like 25k on the low end. I mostly run at night though so sniping isn't a massive concern.
i fully agree about the schmidt and bender scope i wish the 1x sense was fixed because i actually want a 1x8 but i just cant run it with that sense it is just too slow for me it feels like 3x more movements to make it the same distence compared to tac 30 i have to move my mouse a full swing 3 times to go 180 degrees and this is how i set my normal sense 1 full swing of my mouse makes me do a 180 so that way i know exactly how far i have to move it to turn around and go the other way
I personally tried the Burris 1x/4x scope and got to hate it. Not only does it require a different keybind usage than switching between scopes, also changing the zoom imo is way too audible. My absolute favourite so far is the Sig Sauer Bravo, especially because the ability to mount a higher 1x reflex scope. It just retains way better FOV for those close encounters, compared to multi-zoom scopes. For night raids, however the Bravo is a bad choice, it is way too bright (though it doesn't look backlit to me). So there a specter or the cheap 4x PSO works wonders.
The bender scope has a massive drawback to using it with almost all settings set to lowest quality, the reticle is blurred out and you can barely tell what you're aiming at
another scope that people hardly know exists is the dovetail NPZ 2.8x, It doesn't excel in any particular category but the vignetting is very acceptable and it is very comfortable to use in cqb.
Hello friend. One note I wanted to add. Is that the 4x acogs now have their mount at peacekeeper 3 instead of 4, and the 5k mount with the 18k scopes on flea leave it at a cool 23k. The colored certer of the reticle with no busy-ness leaves the 4x ACOG at a great spot IMO for single tapping at range
@@Gigabeef this actually blew my mind... Looks like there is no difference using the other mount and it's available much earlier than peacekeeper 3... I wonder why people don't use the 4x ACOG more.. I even love it on AKs as I can quickly tap shots. I've told you before but I love your content! Especially the translation of ammo types to # of rounds to kill each armor. I've found it hard to find that info elsewhere. Also I'll say (for feedback), that your older video explaining weapon modding was the one thing that got me to understand presets and I've been using them with great effect ever since. I even find that my builds are similar to yours when you make new videos. Much thanks!
kmz best scope, Change my mind. 3x-10x. Clean af reticle. Cheap af. My fav cheap scope for rogue farmin... And the Vulcan is my night time MVP. It can actually see BETTER than GPNVG's into buildings. (lets you see through some windows at night too)
Hey I tried this scope out now that I have skier leveled, it's nice and clean but I noticed it sort of has really bad dpi similar to one of the Schmidt bender scopes. At least it seemed that way to me
I've used this scope early wipe, it's a good scope but i rather have x1 xy on the tac30 / vuduu / razor / etc It is very clean and you can use it at night , good on woods, shoreline and lighthouse
No love for the NcSTAR ADO P4 Sniper 3-9x42 riflescope? That's fine with me - it means it's cheap to buy from the flea. I like it because it gives me a red dot for close range, 3x for medium range & scanning, and 9x for those long range headshots. Yes, the viewfinder is smaller than many of the other VPOs, but I'll take the price & flexibility.
The schmid and Bender optic would be so fu..ing good if battlestates games fixes the incredible low sensitivity in the 1x mode... And personally I almost only used the elcans, Holosights and the Valday this wipe so I think I will give the trihawk a chance and test it out this evening
I think another thing people rarely discuss is the 30mm mount from jaegar 2 or 3 that has rails on top for red dots for 7k. I've used it to great effect with the tac30 to avoid the sight picture issue. But I want to experiment with a 6x in similar price range if I can find one.
2:05 "Disavantages of increased camera recoil..." What? The camera recoil is smaller on high FoV, isn't it? Not bigger? Weapons are definitely easier to control and track targets with at higher FoV
Bsg is weird in that it always makes the cheaper, typically lower quality parts perform the best. This seems to hold true for some optics (except LPVOs) and even attachments like having chinesium strike industries have the best stats. I don’t know if that’s what they have access to in Russia, or they just hate the name popular American brands, but hey, they like to prop up the Russian guns a lot higher than 5.56s so I’m not surprised.
Seems like a strange take when the most consistently meta parts are Magpul, Vltor, KAC, Eotech, Vortex, etc. I know the ACOGs are not anywhere near as good as they should be as though. The SI advanced tube does seem out of place when their are demonstrably better buffers but that's all I can think of for SI that's meta, but what garbage tier stuff is meta?
@@FaustTP LPVOs are okay, so are eotechs, sans the magnifiers, and some stocks. Magpul is a bit weird in that the MOE stock is meta but the CTR which is an improved MOE has lesser stats. FAB Defense stock IIRC has similar stats to the CTR. LMT's SOPMOD stock is also quite low on the stat sheet. Receiver wise, it's weird that some receivers will not work with some handguards when they actually can work with them too. As for cheaper parts being META, anything Strike Industries. handguards of the 416 are case on point. SE5, Fortis, even the blockier RK grips, especially the angled RK1, over an RVG? Even a TD stubby? Geissele Handguards being subpar as opposed to the ancient Alexander Arms MK10. KAC URX is also not up there stat wise but a standard quad is almost equal to it stat wise or even STMs, standard MOE handguards and strike's handguard. LVOA and SAI, who gained their popularity more on the IG or airsoft community gets more stats when they're barely are actually used at all. I get SAI is a good brand while Warsport, now ZRODelta, is Okay, but apart from gun instas and airsoft guns, they don't see actual rugged use via contract or duty or even in the competition side. Meanwhile, DD rails are also mediocre at best stat-wise. Pistol grips are even a bigger rabbit hole where no name brands dominate, while more naturally ergonomic grips (whether magpul or B5 derivatives ala battle grips) rank lower than simple 20 buck hogue overmoldeds. If they really want gucci parts, get in G10 grips. Optics, you've got Monstrum, Swampfox, UTG, Holosuns, NCStars getting used more than Eotech Magnifiers or Aimpoints. If they manage to bring in a feature where parts can break, this would shake up the parts seen on other people's kit.
@@gob7116 The CTR was meta in think 12.10 and earlier (same wipe I joined) and then they changed that because of the buttpad I guess. The LMT SOPMOD (and VLTOR EMOD IMHO) I can agree are also strangely low especially with the KRISS DS150 being like the fourth best stock for buffertubes (MOE > CTR > PRS > DS150). FAB Defense stocks are all high ergo, medoicre recoil reduction and so see zero use. You're comment about the HK416A5 made me do a doubletake on the handguards and I'm loling realizing their is not a single Giessele handguard! Strike are middling at best, virtually no one uses them except for the CRUX (People usually go from the CAA RS47 to the MOE/Zenit to CMDR/TROY/Strelok and skip everything else, M4 it's MOE SL/KAC RIS to DD RIS 12.25/MK10 RL and then URX3.1 10.75/SAI QD 14.5). If the LVOA-C gets any use it's because it's a not terrible freebie on one of the barters but you get access to it the same time as the URX3.1 10.75 which is markedly superior (better recoil reduction, more ergo). The Geissele hand guards not being near top teir is boggling I agree, as well as the limited variety/color, and think the Giessele's should have been top tier at each "modding tier". Like the SMR MK4 and SAI QD are near identical so why is the latter the best and the former not even in the game? I have no really good grounding on pistols grips so I can't nor won't argue this. But my experience with optics is Razor, Eotech, Leupold and Burris dominate the choices in game. Trijicon is off on eye relief but the TA01NSN is still good IMHO and very cheap, and would probably see more use if they introduced the SRO (the RMR is bad for the same reason the aimpoints see barely any use, the game makes the eye relief dogshit and they take up too much eye real estate). The ELCAN is the redheaded step child but only because you're stuck with the poor irons and the lack of the reflex sight mount, but with it it'd probably be picked over any other x1/x4 optic just because the sight is so clean.
@@FaustTP I’m pretty certain the CTR was added after the MOE rubber butt pad as that was the meta even from my time in patch 11. It’s not wrong, it’s just stupid that the actual improved version has lesser stats. As for the PRS, I’m pretty certain they only do recoil reduction, but if a guy can’t buy the magpul stock, they’d likely run the FAB stocks. DS stocks has stats so close to the magpul ones for a cheap price. It’s the ultimate budget stock stats wise. Strike parts are pretty prevalent in the AR platform, AK, not so much. Granted, I don’t see much issues with the AK customization with zenitco leading the pack since the devs likely have gucci zenit parts. I’ve seen the strike viper get used as an alternative to the MOE some more wipes ago, stats wise, it still seems pretty decent despite being chinesium. A Strike CRUX going above a TROY, even a Midwest industries is complete blasphemy. Heck, sometime ago HKs with intermediate barrel lengths could actually use the other handguards. That’s why when it got nerfed, it was either meta or bust. Long ago, and I think this may be before your first wipe, the meta optic wasn’t even LPVOs. That was the time when it’s only the vudu and tac30 but everyone ran pk06s. It’s good they nerfed it along with the other open top reflex sights, but the closed emitter dots do not gain any positive points. One new example is the aimpoint acro. Foregrips, strike industries is the most common value meta with the SE5. Almost all strike industries parts are ranked high. Even the cobra AFG is decent enough to where it’s almost just like the magpul AFG, with more ergo for slightly less recoil control. I guess they can’t really be blamed if most of the AR parts Russia gets are Strike parts since all AR parts are likely more expensive there than stateside.
@@gob7116 The fact you have to use the 20" barrel to be meta rather than having alternative's is really, REALLY bad for balancing. It means you either go 20" to use the CRUX or you go 10.6" and use the Midwest options for max ergo. It makes the 14.5" and 16.5" barrels just bizarrely bad choices; there's two legit HK416A5s you can run, but like 5-6 M4s you can run. I mean an M4 should be smoother to fire and handle, but it's laughable the gulf between them now. I joined just before they turned into the PK-06 into proper shit, remember looting them off scavs and making like 180-210K in a single raid from three items. They could make the aimpoints more useful by at least trying to simulate how the brain ignores the silhouette. The SE5 is Stark, are they same as Strike Industries but branded different? I mean a bigger issue is that your guy grips VFGs like he's on a bus which is just kind of...okay but not how they're used commonly.
No thoughts on the 1P78-1? I quite like the reticule and for my uncultured eyes the lean and auto sight picture works fine. However as you say the FPS drop for any scope due to PIP is rather terrible for my ancient 1070 (fucking shitcoiners), so I've had to stick to red dots and holos.
"not seen anyone use it" about the bravo4, no right, no one, only Bakeezy, a no one. With the same setup as you've tried it, with the burris micro dot on top. Goes with that in every raid on every gun basically, after i've seen him do it I tried that too and it's a spectacular package on every gun. Must try for everyone imho
idk about anyone else but i use 1x optics for basically everything, i consistently win gunfights and 1 tap targets at up to 200m with just 1x optics. in extreme circumstances when im planning to look for extremely long range engagements on reserve or woods i will take a secondary bolt action rifle with a high powered scope on it, but that's about it. I never understood the desire to use magnified optics on a primary
My problem with some of these sights like the tac 30 is that they are unusable with night vision as they light up the picture. It’s why I will usually just use a vortex.
I played at 63 FoV but when you said 64 I changed it 😆 just in case you go on one of your nerd rants where FoV might play a part. Seems my choice paid off today 🙂 Monstrum all day 😎 Also rediscovered the Holosun HS401G5 recently and I find this works nice mounted on a fore-end.

@@rickybuhl3176 the m1a has an optic mount that goes right over the ejection port that makes certain optics like the prism look janky
@@acciaiomorti Yeah, we have a few of those niggles across the variety of stuff we have but it's better than the Vomz Pilad with a Valday/PSO combo we had spawning earlier this wipe lol.. Though not a Depeche Mode fan, the M1A does make me think of Personal Jesus - 'reach out and touch me'
The Valday is a really underrated scope imo. It’s consistently 30-40k on the flea and gives you 1x-6x to reach down range. Plus it looks great.
Underated? i see many ppl including me use it an awful lot, its always been very solid.
how do i mount it on ak?
@@len2477 bastion dust cover from skier remove existing dust cover and rear aperture sight
@@len2477 AKdemia Bastion Dust Cover is what most people use because of it's high availability and low price from Skier LL1. You need to remember to remove the rearsights though. It also gives -1% recoil for some reason.
Used to be the best, they added too much black shit on the edges. Yes it’s probably more realistic, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t make it worse
The Elcan Spectre will always be my go-to, I love that scope so much.
Valday for me, usually just a tad more expensive with a clear sight
Cheers!
Still this wipe? Ill check but Im pretty shocked how clean the bravo+delta is this wipe. Hamr, despite looking cool, is difficult to use.
For me it's sporadic, and for the floatiness to happen outdoors. Possibly related to other settings, but with Tarkov it's likely a grab bag of optimization issues that start at the optic bug still being around.
Bravo is fantastic with the cheaper red dot. Pest shouted you out too recently, kinda hype
Yes! I am very appreciative :)
Cringe
Yeah it's quite high
I've been using this bravo this wipe. I think it's great, but at 60k with the delta point it's a bit pricey. So depends how much you value the red dot. I value it a lot.
Thats what I use. Sometimes bravos are 31-35k and you can stock up. In fact the bravo + rd is the only thing i love this wipe
Thanks for all your time and effort! Really love the videos.
The swampfox on your Ergo SVD build feels amazing 😍 great vid!
I love your vids mate, they are always clean and concise.
Thanks!
it's wild that it's probably the higher screen recoil that makes you see better through this scope cause it follows the scope more which seems kinda, counterintuitive
another big plus for the bravo is the very small -2 ergo penalty, really like that sight
Hey beef, you seen the new SAG changes? At ~50k stock, it's definitely a strong choice now - would be cool to see a video/guide on it!
What did they change?

I use the bravo optic a ton, its a fair price and performs better than other optics in terms of eye relief and vignette. To keep it cheap you can put a pk-06 on the top, but the pk-06 has a very large amount of wobble and sway issues, making it hard to use.
Hey real quick the effect is actually not really called vignetting, IIRC it's Eye relief & Eye box (How far and where your eye needs to be to get a clear sight picture)
Bro YES. I saw this pop up on my available scopes and didn't recognize it. Tested it full auto and went wait a second, this fucking slaps

By far my new favorite scope, I've also never seen on in loot only via Trader.
I used to use the Bravo all the time and the monstrum is my favorite sight in game but this wipe I have been using the valday and of course the Vudu a lot
The Bravo still has the recoil problem on the backup sight if you switch to it from 4x to 1x but goes away after going to a fresh ADS
Ever since last wipe, the PMII has been my go to scope. Lighthouse, Shoreline, Lighthouse, Woods. It has a great 1x and the 8x feels just right when 6x isn't enough. The lower sens is a little weird, but you get used to it real quick.
British man discovers that good IRL budget optic is good also good in a game
Not always the case though!
BaKeezy is a bravo man. Dude is a legend on the next wave
Didn't realise! Legend indeed
The Schmidt & Bender scope bug has been reported by me and other ppl. BSG said they know about it and it will be addressed in future patches.
very infomativ und well made video. thx
I love this optic. Been running it the last 2 weeks almost exclusively!
I've found a couple of them because i was using them before skier 3. I think i got one on a sv-98 as a scav too.
I had no clue your fov had an affect on the scopes vignetting. Immediately lowered my fov after watching this 😂👍
swampfox is a smaller brand in the optic/gun world kinda like vortex but without the big ad budget .
Ha i like it too. It goes really well with a slanted dot. I run it on a customs and shoreline if I don't hit the resort on during the raid.
Bravo with Burris is my favorite sight combo in this game good for close and long
I killed a dude with a decked out M4 with this sight and a side-reflex, fell in love with it and bought a bunch for my other guns.
The small acog is also 3.5x. Its awesome .its very similar
i fully agree about the schmidt and bender scope i wish the 1x sense was fixed because i actually want a 1x8 but i just cant run it with that sense it is just too slow
for me it feels like 3x more movements to make it the same distence compared to tac 30 i have to move my mouse a full swing 3 times to go 180 degrees and this is how i set my normal sense 1 full swing of my mouse makes me do a 180 so that way i know exactly how far i have to move it to turn around and go the other way
When I used it the first time I immediately fell in love with it.
Best scope for my M4 hands down, and I use the Burris red dot canted on the ncstar mount
Trijicon SRS-02 reflex sight, that baby is my favorite.
Acog with a red dot canted is my fav budget combo.
Compact Mount adapter for sights is Skier 2 and also works for the ACOGs :)
Yes this scope rocks I've been putting it on sks builds and dominating
the schmidt is bugged, it has the same zoom as the x20 optics and its 1x mode is identical to the 4x acog zoom.
M4 with trihawk and canted raised T1/H2 is my jam 👌
Great scope .. on time and packed well. Did I mention Great scope
Forgot that I was meaning to try this scope, looks clean.
I'm interested in the scope, but I don't like the way it looks. if it had a low mount, It'd be my go to for a light weapon build with backup reddot
I usually run Valday, Spectre and Prism in that order.
I own a trihawk IRL it's a lovely piece of hardware
I’ve been running this on the MP-18 👌
Bakeezy uses the Bravo a lot with the burris on top so I-d guess its fine to use
kmz best scope, Change my mind. 3x-10x. Clean af reticle. Cheap af. My fav cheap scope for rogue farmin... And the Vulcan is my night time MVP. It can actually see BETTER than GPNVG's into buildings. (lets you see through some windows at night too)
Is very cheap I will agree, the double click zoom is annoying though
@@Gigabeef Yeah takes a little bit to get used too it.
Hey I tried this scope out now that I have skier leveled, it's nice and clean but I noticed it sort of has really bad dpi similar to one of the Schmidt bender scopes. At least it seemed that way to me
I've used this scope early wipe, it's a good scope but i rather have x1 xy on the tac30 / vuduu / razor / etc
It is very clean and you can use it at night , good on woods, shoreline and lighthouse
Almost all my guns have the compact 2….. just feels perfect!
Bakeezy uses that bravo, he swears by it
No love for the NcSTAR ADO P4 Sniper 3-9x42 riflescope? That's fine with me - it means it's cheap to buy from the flea. I like it because it gives me a red dot for close range, 3x for medium range & scanning, and 9x for those long range headshots. Yes, the viewfinder is smaller than many of the other VPOs, but I'll take the price & flexibility.
I think the red dot does the picture in picture stuff and the sensitivity is kinda stuffed, from what I saw
I’m fairly certain the HAMR has been changed a bit. I used to run it all the time and now the reticle seems huge
It was different at least a yr+ ago
If you lower your FOV, that ridiculous eye relief on things like the Tac 30 is much more manageable
Trihawk is now on flea! It goes for about 20k so far, its literaly the cheapest assoult scope.
Remember seeing this 1, not sure where tho. Probably scav case
2:05 "Disavantages of increased camera recoil..."
What? The camera recoil is smaller on high FoV, isn't it? Not bigger? Weapons are definitely easier to control and track targets with at higher FoV
recoil is bugged and is bound to FOV, lower FOV has less visual recoil, 63 is generally recommended to avoid the issue
Red dot/holos at high FOV have way more apparent recoil, was casually testing it recently
I found it to be super good on the svd for punisher
Irl this company is pretty good for reliability and price. They have a 1x10 for a nice price that I’ve been eyeing up
Ive used this all last week. Its noice
No thoughts on the 1P78-1? I quite like the reticule and for my uncultured eyes the lean and auto sight picture works fine. However as you say the FPS drop for any scope due to PIP is rather terrible for my ancient 1070 (fucking shitcoiners), so I've had to stick to red dots and holos.
hope this scope gets added to the loot tabels
Prism is my fav budget scope
the FOV has a big effect on the black-effect in your scope when u play 60FOV u have like zero in every scope :)
Wait, high FOV has INCRASED recoil? Shouldn't it be the opposite ?
Try it with a reddot/holo, the gun shoots way higher
My problem with some of these sights like the tac 30 is that they are unusable with night vision as they light up the picture. It’s why I will usually just use a vortex.
can the Trihawk use in night raid? coz prism cant since its holo i think?
Works at night
Monstrum is my meat, using it with a meta Adar and it feels super snappy and mighty to use
I played at 63 FoV but when you said 64 I changed it 😆 just in case you go on one of your nerd rants where FoV might play a part. Seems my choice paid off today 🙂
Monstrum all day 😎 Also rediscovered the Holosun HS401G5 recently and I find this works nice mounted on a fore-end.
