If I had opportunity to play but it was against Ify Nwadiwe, I would make an excuse and ask to go on a different time so I would get an easier opponent. Then this guy Jeremy just convinced me I should avoid any embarrassment and never play.
I also love that originally in JoJo, there were no weird spellings like Tonpetty or Robert E. O. Speedwagon. They were just straight up Tom Petty and REO Speedwagon. That was part of the legal-ese that allowed us to ever get JoJo.
Something I MUST share about Lord of the Beatles is that one of the directors they approached was Stanley Kubrik. At some point someone was genuinely trying to put together a Kubrik-Beatles LotR

@@moonblaze2713 Ok then. Um, Actually not entirely true, he lived three doors away from a band practice that played music similar to the Beatles. Not the actual Beatles themselves.
I'm so glad Loki's horse pregnancy has finally come up on this show
I appreciate Ify saying that he "read" _Avatar: the Last Airbender_
I love that you quipped 'we all love to eat breen' because on Babylon 5 G'kar tells us humans have an identical recipe: Swedish meatballs. So congrats everyone who likes Swedish meatballs, you like eating breen!
Um actually, G'kar tells his friend that it's Swedish meatballs presumably because he bought it from a human vendor, but then goes on to say that almost every race in the galaxy has invented the dish. It's just one of those weird things.
Swedish meatballs are the best meatballs.
Jeremy is like the quintessential nerd, down to his appearance and everything!
Lol, thanks?
@@blackwingedheaven take it as a compliment please, i really admire you for this episode. please don't take it the wrong way. you are cool.
No offense taken! ^_^
Jeremy looks like he gives incredible hugs
Aww, thanks!
You did a planescape question!?!?!?!? Hell yes!!!!! I feel complete...
I'm a huge Planescape fan! I actually own almost the entire run of the original line!
Jeremy played so fairly! He seemed to always know the answer, but let the other contestants struggle through all the wrong answers first :D
Thanks! As I've said in other comments, it's mostly the editing making me look better than I am! XD
Something I MUST share about Lord of the Beatles is that one of the directors they approached was Stanley Kubrik. At some point someone was genuinely trying to put together a Kubrik-Beatles LotR
I think Ify was thinking about Tenchi Muyo! There's an episode where Tenchis father is trying to convince him to spy on the girls, gets surprised by one of the ladies popping up over the fence, and falls back into the boys side hotsprings
I feel like there was a very similar scene in My Hero Academia and Soul Eater
what a delightful guest!
Thank you so much! You're delightful for saying so! ^_^
Um, Actually, Brennan Lee Mulligan has gotten at least one Real World Skill: He corrects Trapp that you don't wash cast iron pans with soap and water, you just rinse the pans to avoid any of the past flavors falling apart, or something; I don't fully remember the episode. I just remember that Brennan said "I'm an ADULT! I DON'T JUST KNOW NERD SHIT!" with a voice crack in the second sentence
Um, Actually, that one was about storing eggs without the waxy outer coating at room temperature.
When shows like this (especially youtube ones) have a viewer guest on as a contestant, there's always that thought of "Are they just gonna be nice and let the guest win?" but Jeremy proved why he was there right out of the gate
this episode was just Jeremy getting all the answers and the others saying 'oh well I'm not into those franchises anyway'
Two seconds into the video: this man is gonna kill it
the drip on iffy... what a flex
Jeremy Came in and shut the whole place down! Usually Iffy is storming through but DAMN Jeremy...also Siobhan being the responsible adult is amazing continuity
Fun fact: The creator of the show Hirohiko Araki is a big fan of Western music, and many of the characters in the show are named after musicians and songs.
Dio is second to only Robert E.O Speedwagon LMAO
Is that q fun fact or somethibg extremly obvious? I mean....there are stands called metallica and sex pistols..
@@giancarlojimenez1541 it's a fun fact if you watch a dub, because you can't have those names in America, so they say something else
Looking at Jeremy's score, have we ever had a contestant hit double digits before?
Jeremy needs to be brought back for the next contest of champions, cause holy shit, he cleaned up
Ify using Brennan's camera and spot and look into the camera just to telepathically tell everyone to "Get in the comments"
I was unreasonably delighted to learn that Trapp is married.
that explanation of the way the Mages do magic was so well done and understandable! Fuck rule books, can Jeremy just sit next to me and explain all my DnD feats to me?
I've been thinking about starting up a RUclips series about explaining how stuff works in various RPGs. Do you think that would be something people would be interested in?
@@blackwingedheaven I think you'll probably have a hard time getting into the DnD video market, given the success of Critical Role and Dimension 20 and the people affiliated with it.
But given the debacle of WotC and the new OGL, people are looking at alternatives to DnD right now, so that might be a good spot!
Personally, for videos like that, I look for those that are easy to understand and not condescending. I enjoy youtubers who aren't at 110% energy all the time which can be exhausting, but still engaging and excited about what they're discussing as it can be a downer if they're not. I don't know what Quinton Reviews did differently, but he got me watching all those hours of Victorious Analysis without me having actually seen the show, but he sure had my attention.
If you have any kind of gimmick or style element that could work, that might also help you snatch viewers! (There's this one tiktoker who's an archer *and* a pole dancer and sometimes shoots while hanging from the pole. Other videos of the same person deal with DnD classes and stuff. I found the DnD stuff via the pole-dancing-archery videos. I forget the name...)
@@franzis-frantic-thoughts5433 Thanks for the deeply considered response! I really appreciate it!
I see Siobhan participating, I click and I like
It was so great to see a fan finally crush this game
