This was the album that changed every live album that followed it. Then came Frampton, Skynyrd, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Eagles, Jackson Browne, way too many to list here, and so many that followed it. Y'all just gotta look harder. Theres newer bands that keep the flame alive. Look up White Denim or the Alabama Shakes.
I never grew up. 60 yrs. old and still listenin'!!!
@@macklemorganfreeman8488 Good bands for newer music that you mentioned, but it's not quite on the same level IMO. There are some good bands if you spend time searching for them, but again, not on the same level. 😕
Great tunes when music meant something
This came out when alot of bands were putting out live albums. Kiss, Frampton, Humble Pie to name a few. In my humble opinion, this was one of the very best!!!🎉
In the running for one of the top 3 live albums ever made.
In my age now I never realized how this speaks to me
NO AUTO TUNE HERE. PURE VOCALS AND ROCK AND ROLL.
Cool
Bad ass
I remember my dad playing this album over and over , I was nine in 76 and these songs still bring back those memories of my childhood.
⚡👍⚡
Amen to that
Right on
I Love singing along with Bob seger
Straight up pure rock n roll!!❤🎉💯💯👏👏
I was straight sleeping on BS,SBB back in the day, wow! He had an amazing voice and delivery, one of the great male singers, incredible band. I'm all over his live stuff, but I can still die happy without ever hearing Old time rocknroll again... He's definitely one of the underrated greats..
When I was 3 I figured out how to work my Dad's record player and it was like Heaven
You sir, are correct.
The album came out in 1976, and I got to see him perform live just 10 years later in 1986. One of the best live performances I ever saw.
❤
Always thought THIS was perfection for LIVE music......Seger nailed this and NOBODY has done it any better. This coming from an Eagles, Croce, Denver, Beatles, E.L.O. FAN!!!!!
Best Live Album ever! It still gets me 40 + years later.
This is real music. It will always b the best ever 👍
I was 12 when this came out, and it changed the way i played guitar for a long while.❤ Much love Bob you got me through some rough times
Me too. Adolescence was tough for me, and Bob Seger became my role model.
Grew up with this great music. Love it .nothing is better.
Absolutely the best memories 💃💃💃🎶🎶🎶🩷🎶🩷🎶🩵💙🎶🩵💙
Piano, Guitar, Drums..................incredible.
I'm only 40 but this has always been my most favorite song set ever. It just hit harder for some reason.
Saw this cat at a music festival in a Davison Michigan in 1968. He was billed as the Bob Seger System, I was 11 years old, and remember thinking this guy is pretty good. I was right!
I am so jealous!
Jelly!!! I was only 6 then, I didn't get turned on until this album I snitched off my older sis when she left the house and I was hooked!!! LOL
Sherwood Forest

Bob Seger wrote a song for everyone in the world.High Energy Singer and Preformer..
this guy was huge in the 80s. saw the tour in greensboro - sold out in 30 minutes. back at the record store ticket deal, my brother and i skipped school went and camped out til they opened at 10am, barely got tix. top 10 concert all time for me
I finally got to see him in concert. My God what a show! No elaborate stage production, just him and his band in their blue jeans put on the best show I have ever seen. He still rocks!
Never saw the Man or the Band live, but I can tell you driving truck for 20 years now and when this music comes on I am free rollin clocking miles with ezzzz
Georgia overdrive kinda music !
You can burn 2000 Calories drumming to the song or air drumming to it. Haha
The best segue in music history... my favorite part
Obviously don't listen to the dead or moe. then
@@recchem3268 No, not a dead head
My mom took me to see bob segar when I was11....never seen my mother dance .just rock8n and loving it ... Never looked at her the same way ...
Great album kicks ass
Another piece of my life, saw Bob twice over the years, one of the greatest showmen that rocked a stage and a genuine down to earth guy too. This was the album that changed every live album that followed it. Then came Frampton, Skynyrd, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Eagles, Jackson Browne, way too many to list here, and so many that followed it. Forever changed the future of how live concerts were done and the sound of AOR radio and rock in the 70's
For sure
15 in 1975 I saw Bob in 75,76,77 in Boston. Amazing live band. Thank you for the memories
Those are the memories that, makes me a wealthy soul!
Best album ever!!!
This is how you do it. This is real rock n’ roll…real music. I haven heard this in years and decided to dig it out…and I got the same vibe as the first time I heard it. This was a great live band…how I’d want my band to sound. Segar sounds just fantastic. I’m so happy I could find this so easily.
I still like both of these songs after all these years.
But there's not a song I don't like by Bob.
✌️😉

Saw Bob Seager in 2011 Face the Promise Tour and he played 2 songs from the New Album , stops halfway through the 2nd song and asked the crowd , "Do you wanna hear the new album or the old shit from last 30 years? " Crowd went nuts with applause, and he started in with this song. SUCH a good time. Thank you Bob Seager & the Silver Bullet Band for all the good music. ✌️
He was just a musical genius.
Yeah! I would love to shake his hand
Went to work off early cleaned up jumped in a car for a 70 mile trip down I64E to Norfolk, Va to see Seger. Staggered to work the next day got off early cleaned up back in the car for 60 mile I64W trip to Richmond Va.for another show. Seger back to back. Those were good days. Tickets? $17.50...lol
like "til it shines" is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard,I can say that another 100 times but it doesn't take away from Bob's song
I saw him live for Night Moves tour in 76 in Indianapolis. Great concert. Never forget it.
No better song to listen to while speeding down an interstate on a summer night.
1976 I was living in Detroit. Listened to a lot of Seger up there. I still do.
Bob u r my hero my first concert at 1w yrs old with an Outlaw bikers ol lady in Ft Wayne IN
Such a soulful and beautiful voice.amazing songwriter and singer!
One of the greatest lives songs in the history of rock !
The most beautiful transition between two rock songs ever in rock history!
i miss em, thanks for everything
He is the old goat
Absolutely Bob. Thank you. So many memories for me.
