It resonates for sure. I agree with you 100%. As i matured, I see fanatics as my Shadow. This was an aha moment for me. I see everything a part of myself, and so, there is no need to fight it. It's all on the path to greater growth and understanding.
I also have to admit.. that my strongest drives and things that have made me successful in my life have been the things that I have taken deep interest in and taught myself ...!!

I attempted college lol. I agree...college does not determine intellectual pursuits. Always learning should be the motto.
And what are we learning? So much of what is touted as "expert" information to me is disinformation or half-truths based on limited understanding.
oh I completely agree...everything we know is wrong lol. Especially in todays colleges. The ability to discern truth from lies is the most valuable skill along with thinking for yourself in general. The last 18 months has shown us how blatant lies are being accepted as truth by the majority.

My father was a Sagittarius Sun, and unfortunately, he carried the self-righteous smugness, the demonising of alternate opinion, the desire to ridicule others for thinking differently, etc.
That's why, on a personal level, having Mars in the 9th inevitably forces me to look at the differences between The Sun and Mars.
The Sun rules the ego, and because of this, it can bring with it fragility due to its need for admiration.
But Mars doesn't care about these things. It has its directive that isn't hoping to receive admiration. It's simply an assertion, fiercely unabashed, and warranted.
I once heard someone use the metaphor: 'If The Sun is the ruler, then Mars is the Commander in Chief.'
I agree that those narcissistic insecurities are more like bad personality traits of an under-developed Sun in Sagittarius rather than a Mars in the 9th house/Mars in Sagittarius.
I too have revisited academic schooling at a later age, but have always possessed a strong will and fondness for learning, teaching, sharing philosophies and debate while consistently holding an anti-authoritarian disapprobation towards any dogma, corrupting lies or condescension.
I also felt stagnant in my country of origin and always held a yearning for soaking up other cultures through travelling across borders. The exhilaration through conversations that ensued following the intimacy with a new lover from a foreign land.
There's a romance to Mars that gets dumbed down by the malefic status. It is the divine masculine energy, which can be adamant, but only a misandrist could deem as merely aggressive and dangerous.
Whether you believe in an afterlife or not (I don't personally, but) I think Mars is actually the conditions for which we appropriate our notion of heaven. Our desires for what we want to keep alive. The war we fight, for ourselves and others.

Even though my Mars is retrograde which sucks, most of my time is spent learning and publishing and teaching others. Philosophy and other cultures has always been of interest.
Mars in Virgo in the 9th, I have been to court a lot over my life, more then I would have wanted too, mostly benefiting me, but challenging too as I had to learn a lot to understand the legal stuff in these matters I was stepping into. Only my divorce went badly, married to a malignant narcissist and they fight dirty. I don’t see much covered about the 9th house’s ruling courts though.
The 7th House ruled by Libra is the courtroom and legal matters and the 9th are the laws themselves, as I understand it.
@@lemurianchick That makes sense, I was told by my sister who is also a astrologer that the lawyers fall in the 7th house as well.
Seems like some of those interpretations are severely biased. Makes me laugh. It's the reason why I'm super picky with which astrologers I follow. I feel, as an anarchist, that you are one of the few balanced astrologers online.
