The video referred to where we had a practice game is here: ruclips.net/user/liveonrCYkMa29M?feature=share

Anyone who is familiar with BattleTech will find some similarity here.
For many years, BattleTech was the closest thing to a real tank skirmish game.
    This is so well done.

I am very interested in this game. Sounds fun from what you have said. I’ve been using Flames of War to pull my 40K friends into historicals, and this looks like a good next step.

We liked it. Very different to something like 40k so it will be interesting to hear what they think when you try it.

Another banger of a review.for a game I wasn't really interested in, I think you sold me on it 😂

Superficially, at least, it soulds like "What a Tanker!" with added complexity
    Is that fair?
If so, is the complexity worth it?

Only played the Lardy game the once, but you are essentially right I would say. Is more complexity better, well, that's highly subjective I guess. I enjoyed both games.
