Actually Rachel, I live in Singapore and Singapore is a very hot and dry climate in the most part of the year. Therefore the clay always is really dry here. Even with Fimo, sculpy, and premo so the clay your using will we so Fung in Australia and harder in singapore:) hopefully this helped❤️
creativesculpey No problem! Btw, you are a big inspiration for me and I really enjoy watching your videos!! you are honestly one of my favorite people on youtube and i really appreciate it
In case you ever want to try it again, you actually can boil other polymer clays. I've never tried with Fimo, but it works with original Sculpey and Sculpey 3. :)
I've been bingeing your videos and I don't know why but I always think you're going to do the Jamie Jo "Byes byes byes!" at the end xD Anyway I really love your charms!!
I'm not a professional too but I'm trained when you boil the clay it have to be separated not sticking together after boiling it you use Super glue or other glues to stick the pieces together that's why it's hard to make tiny charms with the boiling method
Great review, everything was very well explained! I might try to buy some polymer clay from the store since it's hard to come across sellers that ships internationally or with good shipping prices ^^
i always bake my fimo and premo in the microwave with some water for under 2 minutes and theyre perfect!! Saves me so much time. Exept u cant use liquid sculpey so i just glue pieces together when theyre dried.
And always do a test run to make sure ur clay will work and bake!!. ALSO!!!! i put a wet paper towel over the charms im baking or you can also just submerge them but i noteiced the wet paper towel is better and they bake much stronger.
Hi! I just thought I'd give you a tip. It is a good idea to never bake clay in the microwave. If you ever have wires or metal as a part of your charm, and you put it in the microwave, that could be very dangerous. On the packaging of most clay, including Fimo and Premo, it says to never microwave it. Microwaves also never cook things evenly. I just thought I'd give you a tip! :)
Thanks for this info. I didn't know S & T had clay like this. I've never seen or heard of boiling clay and I'm not planning to ever try it. Baking is king!
my charms are mostly boiled and it is way better because it does not burn at all. However, it tends to discolor it. Another tip, if you use stainless pin, it wont rust!
creativesculpey Hi, I got mine from amazon (Canada), but don't recall the brand. I spent about 4 bucks in total (shipping+handle) for 500 stainless pins.
Sorry I'm super late but I just wanted to know what icing tip you use because size 14 is the smallest star tip I have but that is too big so please answer. 😅
Color Fish I honestly don't know how I have this many already either.. it might a glitch because usually I only get around 40-100 in the first hour haha
