Create atmosphere and cinematic looks in Photoshop

  • In this video, I show how to create atmosphere and cohesive cinematic colors in Photoshop.
    NOTE: I have heard that some versions of Photoshop do not include the Sienna Blue Option.
    I suggest contacting Adobe and asking why, they may be able to provide you with it. If not, there is a great application called 3D LUT creator which will allow you to make your own unique LUTS.

    For those missing Sienna Blue, this worked for me (Win 10): Copy all the ICC files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Color Profiles, and paste them into C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color. Restart PS.

      On Macintosh, same thing, the Sienna is in the color profile folder, you can load it when pressing abstract and direct it to that folder..

    Great video. I’ve been using that sienna blue profile specifically for all my nighttime film photos for years. We’ll just recently Adobe’s most recent Ps update rendered my graphics card unable to even operate photoshop. So I made what was apparently an ENORMOUS mistake by investing in a Mac. No sienna blue in the color lookup or 3d LUT drop-down. Unless there’s some way to find it I’m unaware of.

    NOTE: If your version of Photoshop doesn't have the Sienna Blue Option......
    It's not there for a reason. Adobe won't be happy, that you offer it for download....
    Also, just applying a Lut and/or orton has nothing to do with cinematic looks...
    Learning Color Theory is the key !....

    • @Thomasbrownphoto
      @Thomasbrownphoto  5 лет назад +5

      Well, in the case of creating cinematic looks on photographs in photoshop it absolutely has something to do with it. Yes, color theory is great, but this is a photoshop tutorial not a class on color theory. If people want to look into color theory there is plenty of content on that subject. (y)
