There's a Rain combo trial that requires you to time Goro's up-punch after that water ball, then another water ball after the Goro punch. Some trials play deep into specific nuances for certain characters, like 1 trial where you cancel a Geras' command-grab ender animation using Kameo KL's tele, effectively making it a restand which is pretty nifty.

I’m excited to see Sonic incorporate more mix ups with the water portals and shield. I appreciate they don’t settle for the most conventional and S tier characters. Sonic’s curiosity and imaginative way of playing literally changed the game.
He’s definitely insane but he doesn’t use “low tier” characters ever. He finds ways or things others don’t pay attention to maximize them. Look at how Scar was the only one that was able to adjust to Sonics wake up armor out of all these pros but even then he was just jailed by Cyrax….

I can see why Soni likes Rain ,Also the water bubble move thats suppose to block projectiles...it looks like sonic has found a function for it i see nobody doing .. If you use it up close it becomes a mask for your moves much like invisibility so its a great mix up tool.

I’ll never understand why they gave Kameos like Cyrax and Frost the ability to do moves that make your opponent incapable of moving so you get a free combo…twice! Once you use that net or ground freeze, that Kameo should be on cooldown. But either way, great matches!
To be fair it would have been a bit weird for those two to not have their iconic abilities. Doesn't make it feel less cheap mind you but I'm assuming that's why they have the abilities.
@@w47765 yea I don’t mind them having those abilities, but to be able to use them twice before it goes on complete cooldown is what I’m confused about. Yet Darrius uses his kick once and he’s on complete cooldown.
@@ZeroMeguCytax’s net is basically useless, it’s so slow and no one gets catches by it that’s why no one uses that movie because it’s just way to slow. Frost on the other hand only freezes for 2 seconds with isn’t enough for most setups and is also pretty Reactable for blocking low so I’d say that it’s fair. There’s also way more to the game than combos and frost sacrifices other aspects of the game for that freeze which isn’t great for most characters.
I feel like another crazy set up would be after the BF1 projectile that crumbles after you throw the puddle down go for the double over cancel like you do after the cyrax assist 👀👀👀

You can block all hits from Kenshi ghost by ducking and block. When there is an opening just give the ghost a punch. All you have to watch for is Kenshi looking to grab. Players normally do a low thinking you will high block. Easy win against Kenshi.
If you're between Kenshi and Sento there's nothing you can do bro, because you won't be able to touch Sento and Kenshi has high and low blows when you activate the stance, you have to hope to defend right, if you face a good Kenshi player, it's not easy defend.
I was able to defend using crouch low block. Sento doesn't hit you even if attacking from high so you only need to watch Kenshi then punch Sento the second you get the chance. You will have to wait for the timing tho. Sometimes you won't be able to until the string ends. Since Sento normally attacks from high most Kenshi will try to come low so if you are low blocking already it would block both, then just wait to take Sento out so its one on one again. You also do not have to release the block button to block high so you just release the down key and your good. The major thing is when Kenshi grabs. Not sure there is a counter to that if when or if you need to block Sento at the sametime. I was able to defend against all three characters at the same time. Kenshi, Sento and Kameo. Sento behind me, Kenshi in front, Didn't lose. @@lksantosz10
