Went for a trek from UTTAR Kashi to yamunotri back in 1991. Have since moved to the US, but this place is the one I would come back to.... Gorgeous! You can tell bundi that we camped three nights on the banks of bhaghirati River (the baths in the river were fantastic and cold!) and at that time I had decided if I was not going to the US, I was coming back to take up a job at the mountaineering Institute there... Divine places 🙏

Our plans for the day came to an abrupt end when a sudden storm hit. But, we will return to explore more places and find more views when things are better and more conducive for travel.
