Russia Fails at Home While Paris Hosts the Olympics

The Paris Olympic Games began on Friday and this year only 15 Russia athletes will be participating, their lowest number since 1994 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia struggles at home with infrastructure failures, mothers of soldiers complaining, planes crashing, high interest rates, high inflation, and endless corruption scandals in their own military.
